Autor(es): Amaral, Catarina Cristo de Oliveira Barros
Abstract: Institutional memory, when mediated by digital environments, plays a strategic role in public
communication, transparency, and the right to information, especially within public institutions.
In the context of the Brazilian Federal Public Prosecution Service (Ministério Público Federal
– MPF), virtual memorials constitute relevant tools for the preservation and dissemination of
institutional history; however, they do not always present information in a clear, accessible, and
citizen-oriented manner. In light of this scenario, the general objective of this dissertation was
to develop a Guide to Best Practices for Virtual Memorials, grounded in the principles
of Accessibility, Usability, and Plain Language, with the aim of supporting the implementation
of the MPF Virtual Memorial in the state of Sergipe and enhancing MPF virtual memorials at
the national level. This is an applied research study with a qualitative approach and an
exploratory and descriptive nature, structured as an institutional diagnostic. The methodological
framework comprised a bibliographic and integrative literature review on institutional memory,
public communication, and virtual memorials, followed by an empirical analysis of MPF virtual
memorial web pages. Data collection employed evaluation forms based on Nielsen’s usability
heuristics, Plain Language principles in accordance with ABNT ISO 24495-1:2024, and
automated accessibility analysis using the AMAWeb tool, enabling the construction of a
multidimensional diagnostic. The results revealed recurring inconsistencies in language clarity
and in compliance with accessibility and usability criteria, indicating the absence of
systematized guidelines for the development and maintenance of these digital environments.
Based on this diagnostic, the technical product Guide to Best Practices for Virtual Memorials:
Accessibility, Usability, and Plain Language in Public Administration was developed,
translating the research findings into practical guidelines, evaluation tools, and
recommendations applicable to institutional routines. The Guide demonstrates potential for
replication across other MPF units and public institutions interested in improving their virtual
memorials, contributing to the strengthening of public communication, information mediation,
and institutional memory management in digital environments.

Autor(es): Silva, Luciana Marques da
Abstract: This research analyzes the scientific output of graduates from professional master's programs
in Information Science located in the Northeast region of Brazil, considering its relevance
for the evaluation, visibility, and understanding of the formative role of these programs
within the National Postgraduate System. The study seeks to answer how the scientific
output of students and graduates expresses the applied nature of professional master's
programs and what challenges emerge in the process of identifying, organizing, and
analyzing this information. The general objective is to map and examine the output
developed during the course and after graduation, as well as to propose a technical solution
capable of supporting the systematic monitoring of this output. To achieve this, five specific
objectives were established: a) to list and map the scientific output of graduates while they
were active students; b) to identify and map the output developed after graduation; c) to
identify and categorize the technical products generated by the programs; d) to discuss the
specificities of applied output in light of CAPES guidelines and the literature in the field; e)
to develop an informational instrument for monitoring the scientific output of graduates. The
methodology adopts a qualitative-quantitative approach, with procedures for document
review, curriculum analysis, and classification of publications in scientific journals,
following the original language of the journals and the delimitation criteria established in the
corpus. The preliminary analysis reveals recurring difficulties in locating publications,
resulting from the absence of specific public sections on institutional websites, the frequent
outdatedness of Lattes curricula, and the dispersion of information across multiple
platforms—factors that compromise the visibility and monitoring of post-graduation
academic trajectories. The study also identifies the growing participation of graduates in
scientific communication, with variations between programs and years, and demonstrates
the need for tools that centralize and present the data generated by professional master's
programs in an integrated manner. The developed technical product is a response to this
scenario, offering a functional prototype aimed at organizing, systematizing, and visualizing
scientific production, favoring evaluative practices, comparative analyses, and the
consolidation of indicators on the formative contribution of the programs.

Abstract: This dissertation investigates the informational flows that shape Black art in Sergipe through
the geographic mapping of eight galleries and cultural centers located in the city of Aracaju.
The study aims to understand how the institutional records produced by these spaces reflect
the visibility of Black artists and how such information can be systematized within a digital
pedagogical platform. The research is qualitative, descriptive and applied, developed through
documentary analysis of registration books, catalogs, institutional websites, digital archives
and news sources. The corpus includes the following exhibition spaces: Galeria de Arte Sesc
Centro, Galeria de Arte Sesc Cícero Alves dos Santos – Véio, Galeria de Arte J. Inácio,
Corredor Cultural Wellington dos Santos “Irmão”, Galeria de Arte Álvaro Santos, Galeria
Jenner Augusto (Espaço Cultural Semear), Centro de Cultura e Arte da UFS (Cultart) and
Centro Cultural de Aracaju (now Palácio-Museu Luiz Antônio Barreto). The analysis is
grounded in principles of Information Science, with emphasis on circulation, gaps and the
potential of cultural records as informational flows that shape practices of visibility and
erasure. As a technical product, the project includes the expansion of the pedagogical digital
platform PreteSe, designed to organize and disseminate information on Black artists from
Sergipe while providing pedagogical materials that integrate art, memory and education. The
study contributes to the consolidation of more inclusive informational practices and to the
strengthening of the visibility of Black art in Sergipe, reaffirming information as an
instrument of memory, belonging and cultural resistance.

Abstract: Digital transformation has redefined the ways of communication and access to information,
directly impacting cultural institutions, which must adapt to remain relevant and engage new
audiences. In this context, digital marketing emerges as a strategic tool capable of enhancing
the dissemination of knowledge, strengthening institutional image, and promoting greater
interaction between museums and society. Within this scenario, the present research aims to
propose a digital marketing plan for the Museum of Archaeology of Xingó (MAX), affiliated
with the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), with the purpose of strengthening digital
communication and marketing strategies, increasing institutional visibility, and fostering
greater engagement with audiences through the use of Digital Information and Communication
Technologies (DICT). This is an applied case study with a qualitative and descriptive approach
that seeks to present digital tools and strategies and to consolidate the museum’s
communication identity. The methodological procedures involved a systematic literature
review, aimed at verifying the existing knowledge over the past ten years (2014–2025) in
national and international databases. Interviews with the two managers enabled the
identification of strategic aspects of the museum’s digital communication, while thematic
analysis was employed to identify recurring patterns emerging from interviews the various
texts. Additionally, the SWOT matrix was applied to diagnose the strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats related to the museum’s digital communication. Based on this
diagnosis, the technical product of this research—the Digital Marketing Plan for the Museum
of Archaeology of Xingó—was developed, containing strategic guidelines and practical actions
focused on the use of social media, content marketing, and optimization of informational
communication. The results show that digital marketing, when integrated into information
management, constitutes an essential instrument for strengthening museum institutions,
contributing to the dissemination of knowledge, the appreciation of cultural heritage, and
engagement with society.
