Título: Mulheres no cenário político brasileiro: uma sequência de ensino baseada no letramento estatístico Autor(es): Costa, Silvânia da Silva; Ferreira, Thatiany Rodrigues; Veríssimo, Thaís Emanuela de Oliveira; Rosa, Jussara Santos; Amorim, Marta Élid Abstract: This work aims to present a teaching sequence theoretically-methodologically based on Statistical Literacy, following stages of the Investigative Cycle and focusing on female representation in Brazilian politics. The sequence seeks to address a set of components related to Statistical Literacy, both knowledge and dispositional elements, and the Investigative Cycle composed of Problem, Planning, Data, Analysis and Conclusions (PPDAC), both applied in the discussion of the topic in focus. The results show that it is possible, based on an emerging theme, such as gender equality, to develop a proposal aimed at the development of Statistical Literacy.

Título: Materiais manipuláveis e o ensino de matemática e ciências: relato de um curso de extensão Autor(es): Costa, Silvânia da Silva; Donato, Christiane Ramos Abstract: This paper presents reflections and perceptions about the mini-course entitled “Manipulated Materials and the Teaching of Mathematics and Sciences”, an extension action carried out by professors of the Colégio de Aplicação of the Universidade Federal de Sergipe, in 2017. This mini-course had as main objective (re)to think about the use of manipulated teaching materials, fostering discussions about the teaching-learning process of Mathematics and Sciences, contributing to the initial or continued training of students and teachers of Mathematics, Sciences and Pedagogy. These curricular components were presented in the proposal of the course in an interdisciplinary way and in significant situations, helping to better develop the pedagogical work of these professionals, contributing to the continued formation of the students and bringing a more integrated view of the disciplines Mathematics and Sciences. Having as bias the articulation between theory and practice, there were moments for pedagogical debates, experi-mental experiences in group, guided planning, application with students of education and presentation of final product.
