Abstract: This monograph investigates how the use of paradidactic methods in archaeology can contribute to the development of critical thinking and heritage awareness among elementary school students. The study is based on a qualitative and descriptive approach, articulating theory and practice through a university extension project carried out in public schools in the municipality of Laranjeiras, Sergipe, Brazil. Paradidactic narratives were designed and implemented, inspired by elements of archaeology, regional history, and both tangible and intangible heritage. The activities involved stories with archaeological themes that promoted the integration of playfulness, science, and culture. The results indicate that the use of narrative and artistic resources enhances meaningful learning, stimulates curiosity, and encourages critical reflection on the environment, territory, and collective memory. It was also foundthat the archaeonarratives function as effective tools for heritage education and public archaeology, as they democratize knowledge and value local identities. It is concluded that paradidactic methods in archaeology strengthen the role of the school as a spacefor memory preservation and civic formation, transforming teaching into na experience of belonging, dialogue, and historical awareness.

Abstract: In this work, I assume that cooperation underpinned the evolutionary trajectory of hominids, particularly Australopithecus anamensis, during the Pliocene. Based on literature reviews and paleoenvironmental reconstructions, the study juxtaposes traditional competitive approaches with three models (Hunting-Scavenging, Underground Storage Organ, and Predator Protection), using them to highlight cooperation, and posits that social collaboration—resource 34sharing, alloparental care, and collective defense—served as a core adaptive driver in the hominid lineage. Methodologically, I combine a survey of theoretical references, the analysis of ecological data, and functional anatomy with a playful-pedagogical proposal: a cooperative card game prototype for higher education. The game integrates cards for characters, scenarios, artifacts, threats, and environments, employing a numerical voting mechanism to simulate group decision-making in hostile conditions. It is expected that this tool will facilitate practical comprehension of evolutionary processes, encourage experimentation, and promote critical debate on paleoanthropology. The anticipated results point to a teaching model that values interdisciplinarity and reinforces the importance of cooperation in the adaptive path of early hominins. By arguing that cooperation preceded and enhanced competitive capacity, the work broadens our understanding of the mechanisms of natural selection applied to hominids.

Abstract: This article focuses on the analysis of non-adult human remains dated to 1220+/- 30 BP, from the Barra Site, located in Camalaú, Pernambuco. The aim is to estimate the life expectancy of these individuals. The collection is under the care of the Bioarchaeology Laboratory (LABIARQ) of the UFS. These remains were obtained during excavations carried out between November 2007 and January 2008, as part of the project “Archaeological Program of Cariri Paraibano”, led by Prof. Dr. Carlos Xavier de Azevedo Netto. The methods applied revealed a non-adult population

Abstract: This monograph aims to review the importance of producing documentation during the field stages and its subsequent accessibility for future research. For a better example, the
Archaeological Documentation from the Xingó Archaeology Project, which is in the possession of the Xingó Archaeology Museum, was analyzed to show how important the availability of this document and good management of the documentary collection are, so that future research can take place. The methodological analysis covered the identification of the material, the description, the scale on which it was produced, the date of production and the quantity of existing documents, which in turn was the main purpose of the research, showing that there is a vast documentary collection from the Xingó Archaeology Project.
