Autor(es): Santos, Emilli Ruane Vieira
Abstract: This work presents a proposal for a guesthouse located in the Atalaia neighborhood, in Aracaju-SE, grounded in the principles of neuroarchitecture as well as biophilic design. The aim is to create a lodging space that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being by integrating elements that stimulate relaxation and connection with nature. The proposal arises in light of the growth of the hospitality sector in the capital of Sergipe and the lack of enterprises that offer inclusive, accessible, pet-friendly environments focused on guests’ health. The methodology employed involved bibliographic research, collection of statistical data on the local hospitality sector, analysis of architectural references, and study of the site’s physical and legal conditions. Constructive and sensory aspects such as lighting, colors, textures, sounds, and forms were incorporated in order to enhance the user experience and improve quality of life. The result consists of an architectural proposal that combines functionality, aesthetics, and innovation, offering a distinctive lodging model capable of strengthening Aracaju’s tourism sector and providing visitors with a memorable stay, anchored in the concepts of neuroarchitecture and biophilia.

Título: Caracterização e simulação acústica de duas salas de ensaio musical em Itabaiana (SE)
Autor(es): Santos, Elber Nunes dos
Abstract: This study aimed to characterize and acoustically simulate two music rehearsal rooms of the Sociedade Filarmônica Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Itabaiana, Sergipe, Brazil. The main acoustic parameters T20, EDT, C80, D50, and G of the rooms were measured using the impulse response method, guided by NBR ISO 3382-2 (ABNT, 2017), and analyzed using the NBR ISO 23591 (ABNT, 2025) standard. The results showed that rehearsal room 01 presented positive values in most parameters, with some possible fine-tuning. On the other hand, rehearsal room 02 presented results that diverged considerably from those recommended in the literature. Different alternatives were proposed through computer simulation using the I-Simpa software. For room 01, the acoustic proposal managed to promote specific improvements in the evaluated parameters, and the proposal for room 02 had a significant positive impact, allowing all values to be adjusted within the limits reviewed in the literature. Sound pressure level measurements were also taken according to NBR 10152 (ABNT, 2017), which revealed that both rooms had values above those recommended by the standard. Furthermore, insulation problems were found in both rooms, and some preliminary suggestions for adjustments were made. These results highlight the importance of using computer insulation measures, can promote more comfortable and suitable environments for musical practice.
