Abstract: Architecture and nature must be considered as a unit. Brazilian cities need to use biophilic architecture as a starting point to ensure a higher quality of life for all citizens. Therefore, the elderly are the group of people who most need the benefits of this architecture, whether due to their roots and customs in nature, or the psychological and physical benefits it provides to those in dire need. Although the to value its elderswhen designing urban spaces, especially when these individuals require assistance in various aspects of life. Old age brings with it physical and mental health problems.Understanding this, the proposal for a care facility for the elderly in São Cristóvão, SE, was designed to minimize the negative effects and promote active aging for the city's elderly. The proposal is to serve as a daytime community center for seniors living in a family group but lacking full-time care, as well as for all seniors seeking a place to live in a setting designed to ensure their well-being, with programs that encourage contact with nature and cognitive development. Therefore, the historic city of São Cristóvão was chosen as the location for the architectural proposal, primarily because the city&#xD;
requires environments and public policies for seniors, who have been integral to its culture and history.</summary>

Abstract: This study aims to develop a Quilombola Territorial Protection and Management Plan (PPGTQ) for the Resina Community, located in the Brejão dos Negros Quilombola Territory, in Brejo Grande, Sergipe. The plan seeks to guarantee the permanence of the Quilombola population in their territory and promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural assets, valuing identity and strengthening community autonomy. To this end, specific objectives were defined to diagnose the main territorial challenges faced by the community; structure guidelines around thematic axes focused on environmental sustainability, land regularization, community governance, cultural appreciation, basic infrastructure, and the local economy; and propose strategies to strengthen territorial self-defense and community participation. The methodology adopted was qualitative, based on action research (Thiolent, 1988) and inspired by Participatory Stakeholder Intervention (Furtado; Furtado, 2000), combining a literature review, document analysis, territorial mapping, field visits, and interviews with leaders and residents. The results consist of the systematization of a participatory plan structured around six guiding axes, which translate community demands into territorial management proposals, encompassing socioeconomic and socio environmental dimensions. The study's relevance lies in its contribution to the realization of quilombola territorial rights, the strengthening of local governance, and the development of technical instruments that can inform public policies and serve as a reference for other traditional communities.</summary>
