Abstract: Introduction: Endometriosis, a chronic inflammatory condition, affects women of different ages and is characterized by the abnormal presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterus. Some women are asymptomatic, while others present symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain, dyspareunia, infertility, and bowel and urinary symptoms. Diagnosis is made by specialist consultation and imaging tests, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging. Treatment is individualized and may include medication and/or surgery, depending on the severity of the case. Objective: To evaluate the effects of endometriosis on the quality of life of nursing professionals in Lagarto, Sergipe. Method: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study with a mixed data approach. Data collection was carried out by applying the Endometriosis Health Profile Questionnaire-30, in its Portuguese version, applied to nursing professionals working in a hospital institution from January to February 2025. The variables analyzed were: pain, control and impotence, emotional well-being, social support, self-image, work environment, relationship with children, sexual relations, medical professional, treatment and pregnancy difficulties. Eligible participants were those diagnosed with endometriosis, excluding pregnant women, lactating women or those with chronic diseases that cause pain interfering with the evaluation. This research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee under N° 7.257.567 (CAAE: 82721224.4.0000.0217). Results and Discussion: Ten nursing professionals participated in the study, with an average age of forty point three years. The data indicate that their quality of life was affected. The variables emotional well-being (54.3) and pain (47.4) presented higher averages of worse quality of life. On the other hand, aspects such as work (19.3) and relationship with child(ren) presented lower averages, suggesting less impairment. Conclusion: Endometriosis affects women's quality of life in several aspects, such as physical, social and emotional.

Abstract: Introduction: In Brazil, 24.000 newborns are registered annually with some malformation.
Some anomalies can be prevented through public policies, through maternal and child
monitoring. Objective: describe the epidemiological profile of prenatal, delivery and birth of
live births with congenital anomalies in the state of Sergipe, from 2011 to 2021. Methods:
descriptive ecological study, carried out with secondary data from the Live Birth Information
System. The records of live births in the state of Sergipe were evaluated, by residence, from
2011 to 2021. Results: 365,462 live births were recorded in the state of Sergipe, of which 4,097
were born with congenital anomalies, representing an increase of 17.9% in 10 years. Maternal
characteristics associated with CA were extreme maternal age, non-white skin color, low
education, women without a steady partner, multiple pregnancies and living in the interior of
the country. For live births, there was an association with male sex, low Apgar, low weight and
prematurity. The most frequent CAs were musculoskeletal malformations, nervous system,
genitourinary, ear pinna, orofacial malformations and chromosomal syndromes. Conclusion:
congenital anomalies have shown an increasing incidence over 10 years, and maternal and
newborn characteristics help monitor data in the system. However, due to bias in the records,
important data for this monitoring is underreported. It is up to the responsible bodies to propose
subsidies for a more complete capture of the frequency of anomalies present in the state and
improvement of notification instruments.

Abstract: Introduction: Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) represent a significant public health
challenge, requiring effective interventions by health professionals. Current treatment follows the
2022 Clinical Protocol and Therapeutic Guidelines (PCDT IST), adapting to the syndromic
approach and clinical assessment of the professional during the consultation. However,
organizational and structural challenges and high patient demand can prevent health professionals
from consulting these protocols properly due to a lack of time or up-to-date training. Objectives:
To create an information tool to be used by health professionals in the treatment of STIs. Methods:
Methodological study based on the process of building an informative and advisory tool for treating
the main STIs. The stages involved in gathering the content were: a review of the specific literature,
selection and filing to prepare the tool, organization and visual design. Results: An information
sticker was designed for health professionals who provide care to users with STIs and their
contacts. The sticker has the format of an A5 piece of paper, so that it is easy for professionals to
see in offices or other places of care. It includes up-to-date technical information based on the 2022
PCDT IST, providing treatment guidelines for the main STIs, divided into syndromes with
subtitles. Conclusion: The information material produced summarizes all the treatments for the
main STIs and is written in a way that is accessible to health professionals. It promises to be a
resource of great contribution to the daily lives of those who treat STIs.
