Abstract: To analyze the knowledge of infants about oral health in early childhood, a screening was
applied through the virtual platform of Google and carried out at the Banco de Leite Humano
Marly Sarney in the city of Aracaju, state of Sergipe. The form with semi-structured questions
related to socioeconomic, cultural, demographic aspects and oral health in early childhood.
The virtual communication channel of the Banco de Leite was used to send the video, letter of
invitation and the online questionnaire, in the same way that field research was carried out
with the approach of breastfeeding women in the institution's waiting room. The descriptive
and qualitative analysis of the data obtained was structured using an Excel spreadsheet that
allows the adaptation of the evaluation material with the aspects listed in the literature. It was
observed that, within the limits of the study, 33 lactating women between 20-40 years of age
who received dental guidance (57.6%) during pregnancy had a greater perception of oral
health in early childhood, 85% agreed that breast milk does not cause caries, 45.2% of them
take their children to the dentist only in case of pain or injury in the mouth, 51.5% did not
mention that they should insert fluoride toothpaste during cleaning as soon as their teeth erupt,
and 30.3% of mothers informed that they did not do the tongue test. The lactating women who
received dental guidance during pregnancy had a greater perception of their children's oral
health, with impacts on the procedures adopted in early childhood.

Abstract: HPV (Human Papilloma Virus - HPV), has the sexual route as the main route of contagion
and are classified as high risk and low risk, and may present in a subclinical and clinical way.
The prevalence of HPV resulting in clinical expression of this virus depends on the deficiency
of the host's immune system. It is known that habits such as smoking can compromise the
immune system and promote a favorable environment for the expression and replication of
microorganisms such as HPV. Electronic smoking devices, known as e-cigs, have become
increasingly used, especially among young people, and like conventional cigarettes, e-cigs
can also compromise the immune system and inhibit the body's natural responses. The
objective of this work is to synthesize knowledge about the effects of using e-cigs and to
analyze whether there is an influence on the prevalence of HPV in the oral microenvironment.
The methodological path followed was the integrative bibliographical research in the
LILACS, SciELO and PubMed databases, which took place between October 2022 and
February 2023, with the descriptors: “HPV”, “oral cavity”, “electronic cigarettes”. ”, “human
papillomavirus”, “vaporizers”, “electronic nicotine delivery system”, “oral cavity”,
“electronic cigarettes”, “human papillomavirus”, “vaporizers”, “electronic nicotine delivery
system”. E-cigs can negatively regulate key elements for the correct functioning of the
immune system and thereby create a favorable environment for the permanence and
replication of HPV in the oral cavity.

Abstract: The low intensity laser has been used in a range of clinical situations, being considered as an
integrative practice in dentistry, with application in a wide spectrum of options, as in patients
with Burning Mouth Syndrome, producing researches with promising results. This study has
the purpose of review the action of laser photobiomodulation in the Burning Mouth
Syndrome, and its efficiency in the decrease of the signs and symptoms, by literature review.
It was used articles from the PubMed basis (Public Medline), Scielo (Scientific Electronic
Library Online), BVS (Health Virtual Library) from 2004 to 2023. The laser
photobiomodulation may be a very promising alternative for patients with definitive diagnosis
of Burning Mouth Syndrome, showing improvements in the symptoms and gradual progress
in the life quality.

Título: Percepção dos usuários junto aos serviços dos centro de especialidades odontológicas (CEO) do estado de Sergipe
Autor(es): Escobar, Surya Ananda Costa
Abstract: The National Oral Health Policy (PNSB) created in 2003/2004 enabled the reorganization of
Primary Health Care (PHC) as well as the implementation of Dental Specialty Centers (CEO).
This policy enabled a network of comprehensive oral health care with a reference for basic care
in cases of greater complexity. As it is a specialized public service, it is important to evaluate
and monitor these services to identify problems and demands for health services and service
performance. In 2013, the National Program for Improving Access and Quality of Dental
Specialty Centers (PMAQ-CEO) was instituted, which increased federal resource allocation to
participating municipalities that achieved improvement in quality standards in care based on
collected results. Thus, the objective of this study was to analyze the services of the CEOs of
the State of Sergipe from the user's perspective in the responses of the external evaluation of
PMAQ CEO 2nd cycle, 2017. Methodology: this is an exploratory, retrospective, quantitative
analysis, using secondary data. Module III of PMAQ-CEO was evaluated, which presents
results from the user's perspective. Module III has three focuses: (i) issues related to care; (ii)
issues related to user bonding and accountability; (iii) issues related to inputs, equipment, and
ambience. Results: 28 male and 73 female users were evaluated, with 67 being brown-skinned,
73 from urban areas, and 87 having Family Health Strategy coverage in their residence. The
average age was 39 ± 14 years. Only 61 of the interviewees declared their family income, with
an average of R$1326.1 ± 1125.9 reais. Regarding scheduling, 74 users received a referral
guide to be seen at the CEO. Regarding the specialty sought for care, 31 went for endodontics
and 31 for minor oral surgery. Most users (35) said they waited from one week to one month to
be seen, being seen on a first-come, first-served basis (84 of the users). Regarding care, almost
all interviewees liked the care and felt comfortable, but most did not complete any treatment, so
it is not possible to observe whether the referral system is being efficient. Regarding inputs,
equipment, and ambience, 10% of the sample reported that service had been interrupted due to
lack of material, although they consider the care and facilities good or very good and give high
scores (9 and 10) for satisfaction with the care received. Conclusion: users are satisfied with the
service provided by the CEO in Sergipe.
