Autor(es): Araújo, Maria Liriel Santos de
Abstract: This work consists of an artistic descriptive memorial about the creation of a play that addresses current topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). Based on theoretical and practical research, I developed a play experimenting with the character and technology on stage, investigating contemporary discourses on Artificial Intelligence and its current influences. Theoretically, the work engages with the contributions of Renata Pallottini, especially regarding dramaturgy and character creation. For the discussion on Artificial Intelligence, I bring the perspective of authors who address technology on stage, such as Saulo Popov Zambiasi and Patricia Leandra Barrufi Pinheiro, in the article Theatricality and New Technologies - Artificial Intelligence as a Resource for Theatricality, as well as the contributions of Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig. From these references, I try to use them as a basis for creating a reflective dramatic text. My intention is to make the audience reflect on their own behaviors regarding AI and how, in some way, each of us acts in the face of this technology. At the end, I will do a dramatic reading to conclude the presentation of the memorial.

Autor(es): Farias, Larissa Conceição Ramos
Abstract: This study aims to reflect on the construction of the children’s play Barquinho do Sonho (Little Boat of Dreams), which is inspired by the popular culture of Estância a municipality located in the state of Sergipe and, in particular, by the tradition of Barco de Fogo (Boat of Fire), a significant cultural expression of the region. The research seeks to understand how children’s theatre can contribute to the appreciation of popular culture and the strengthening of children’s cultural identity. The theoretical framework draws on scholars who address children’s theatre, playwriting, memory, cultural heritage, and creative processes, linking theoretical reflections to the work’s creative development. Methodologically, this is a bibliographical research combined with artistic practice, focusing on the development of the dramatic text and the analysis of its narrative and cultural elements. The narrative follows the character Estrela (Star), a child who dreams of visiting Estância; through an imaginary journey, she encounters figures that introduce aspects of local culture, such as the Barco de Fogo and Batucada (a traditional rhythm and percussion performance). The creation of the play sought to value popular knowledge, collective memory, and the city’s cultural traditions, bringing this heritage closer to young audiences. The findings indicate that children’s theatre can serve as a powerful tool for cultural mediation, fostering learning experiences, a sense of belonging, and the recognition of local cultural expressions. It is concluded that children’s playwriting constitutes a valuable space for the preservation of cultural memory, as well as for children’s aesthetic education and identity formation.

Abstract: This work aims to present the creative process behind the performance Letters to Petrina. It is a biographical play centered on the life of Petrina Maria de Souza — the grandmother of the author and playwright — and the core subject of this research. The study seeks to understand how Neila Baldi’s letter-writing methodology contributed to the creation of this performance, through the use of somatic-performative writing structured as letters throughout the research process. The study is grounded in theoretical frameworks by authors who discuss autobiographical writing for the stage, somatic writing, cartographic methodology, and the creative process, linking theoretical reflections to the development of the work. Methodologically, this research is organized into three sections framed as letters: the first introduces Petrina’s life story; the second compiles letters written by Petrina’s family members, exploring how these documents were adapted and translated into the dramaturgical creation; and the third examines the actual creative process of the performance Letters to Petrina. The findings show that the letter format made it possible to rework and reshape the dramaturgy, as this form of writing allowed the authors to express thoughts and feelings that might otherwise have remained unspoken. This reveals the powerful role of somatic letter-writing in the development of a theatrical production.

Título: Uma leitura da melancolia através da personagem Ofélia de William Shakespeare e suas semelhanças com mulheres reais através dos séculos
Autor(es): Moraes, Stefany Larissa de Jesus Oliveira
Abstract: This work aims to analyze William Shakespeare’s character Ophelia, as part of an interdisciplinary study investigating a potential melancholic condition in the figure. Living in a context of subordination, Ophelia endures various forms of oppression; thus, even before her father’s death, a reading of Hamlet already reveals grounds for an existing melancholic temperament in the character. The traits Sigmund Freud attributes to Hamlet in his essay Mourning and Melancholia are here linked to Ophelia. Additional references include Dramaturgia: Criação da personagem by Renata Pallottini, which supports the character analysis, and the article Resistindo à Clausura: a iconografia de Ofélia (2010) by Erika Viviane Costa Vieira, which helps to understand her representation across art forms beyond the performing arts. Accordingly, this research proposes a mapping of Ophelia’s image in the arts, identifying visual and symbolic signs associated with her — signs that allow artists and audiences of other creative languages (visual arts, film, music) to experience the catharsis of melancholy. Finally, the work draws an analogy between Ophelia and real women, both past and present, who have suffered devastating, even irreversible loss.
