Abstract: Basic education is an essential right guaranteed by the Brazilian Federal Constitution, and the state, society, schools, and families are responsible for ensuring this right. Schools is a vital space for socialization, while families provide emotional support and values to young people, and other institutions can provide other types of support so that this segment of the population can safely develop their future projects, such as the State, the church, among others. The reform of secondary education and the creation of full-time schools aim to increase the retention of students in the school environment, but challenges such as the need to work and lack of interest in studies lead to school dropouts. In view of this, this study sought to report the perceptions of young students in the 3rd year of secondary school about their support network and support for completing basic education in a full-time school. The methodology adopted was a mixed approach, integrating qualitative and quantitative aspects, which integrated the activities developed in a university extension, in which Workshops of Activities, Dynamics and Projects and a questionnaire applied to young people were used, to identify the perceptions about the different support networks that are essential for permanence in education. It was concluded that the family was the most cited institution, indicated as the main source of emotional, financial and moral support.</summary>

Abstract: Brazilian public policies seek to guarantee fundamental rights, but they do not adequately meet the health needs of lesbian women. A study shows that 2.9 million Brazilians identify as LGBTQIA+, but these women face discrimination and invisibility in health services. Therefore, the objective of this work is to produce a critical analysis of the discourse of Brazilian legislation on the sexual rights and reproductive rights of lesbian women. Within this, two policies were found, the National Policy for Comprehensive Women's Health Care (PNAISM), which aims to guarantee women's access to comprehensive health care in the SUS, considering the specificities of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and life cycle, and the National Policy for Comprehensive Health for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transvestites and Transsexuals (PNSI-LGBT), which seeks to guarantee the LGBT population's equitable and comprehensive access to health services in the SUS, considering their specificities and needs. The National Plan for Women's Policies (PNPM) was also analyzed, which attempts to promote gender equality and guarantee women's rights in several areas, such as health, education, work, combating violence and political participation. Regarding the methodology of this work, it is a documentary study, in which the critical analysis of the discourse followed Fairclough's proposal, which suggests a three-dimensional model of analysis. Finally, it was possible to conclude that there is a huge deficit in terms of the notoriety of lesbian women within public policies.</summary>

Abstract: School dropout is an old phenomenon that involves the act of leaving or abandoning school. This fact, in addition to being recurrent, puts pressure on the educational field in Brazil. Given this, it is necessary to create new strategies to address this problem, which has been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially with regard to school dropout among socially vulnerable young people and those attending public schools. Based on this scenario, this study sought to describe the actions of a university extension called “Active and Democratic Care: support for the return and permanence of young people to/in school in the (post)pandemic context” carried out by the Federal University of Sergipe, Lagarto Campus, from August 2023 to August 2024 at a high school located in the city of Simão Dias-SE. To this end, documents related to the work carried out were analyzed, such as reports made available in the Integrated Academic Activities Management System - SIGAA and by the extension coordinator, as well as field diaries made available by the extension workers. The documents collected were analyzed and comprise the results of this study. The data showed that among the reasons for school absence, the most prominent were the need to work, the difficulty in following remote classes, teenage pregnancy and lack of motivation in general, with the Covid-19 pandemic being a factor that directly impacted the relationship between students and school. Despite the work carried out by the extension regarding the active search for young people who have dropped out, the monitoring of young people at risk of dropping out and the constant negotiations with school management for the return and permanence of young people in/at school, more actions and engagement from the State and civil society are still needed to guarantee basic education for all.</summary>

Abstract: Primary Health Care (PHC) concerns the first level of health care, it is the preferred entry point into the Unified Health System (SUS). In this way, the health professional who works in Primary Care meets different needs in the territory, which makes the care process a challenge. This care role is intensified when you are a female health professional, as you deal with the care demands of primary care and the feminization of care demands, which can trigger overload. The objective of this study was to identify and understand the daily occupations and the level of overload of family caregivers of children with autism who are professionals in Primary Health Care. This research is qualitative in nature with a narrative approach, a semi-structured interview guide was used to understand the daily occupations, as well as a scale to measure the level of overload. The resulting thematic categories were: 1- Daily overload; 2- The interference of family care in health work; 3- Psychological suffering and caregiver overload. It was possible to identify that the caregiver's daily occupations are strictly the routine of caring for the autistic child, work, domestic tasks and taking care of the children. Furthermore, through the application of the scale, a high level of overload was found. Therefore, it is concluded that the care process performed by females leads to the accumulation of occupational roles. Furthermore, this factor linked to the care of an autistic child significantly interferes with the full performance of daily occupations, due to the demand for necessary care, resulting in impacts on mental health.</summary>
