Abstract: The allegation between abuse against animals and domestic violence, mainly to the practices of women, the elderly and children, was called the Link Theory. This ability of animals is recognized by studies that recognize the way an aggressor acts violently,either by direct or indirect actions, against people. Thus, the objective of this study was to describe the perception of medical students enrolled at Campus do Sertão, Federal University of Sergipe, on the subject of animal abuse and domestic violence. Audiences of 42 students from the beginning and course were selected, who responded as a target who had questions related to the topic. The results were tabulated using the Microsoft Excel program, and descriptive statistics were performed. It was observed that 80% (20/25) of the students enrolled at the beginning of the course had never heard the link theory, however 100%  (17/17)  of  the  students  who  studied  the  subject  in  the  last  stage.  Most  animal  discs  have  already witnessed cases of abuse. Regarding cases of domestic violence against women, children or the elderly, 60%(15/25)of cycle 2 students have never witnessed the case of violence, but 52.94% (9/17) of cycle five students have already witnessed this type of aggression. From the data described, it can be seen that students at the end of the medical course know the importance of the theory of and future professionals can contribute to animals and the mistreatment of domestic animals.</description>

Abstract: The  objective  of  the  article  is  to  analyze  the  Environmental  Education  (EA)  critical  in  the  process  of constituting  the  socio-environmental  conflicts experienced  by  fishing  communities  in  the  Coast  between Sergipe and Bahia, in the area covered by the Environmental Education Program with Coastal Communities (PEAC).  PEAC  is  the  result  of  a  mitigating  measure,  required  by  IBAMA,  as  mandatory  in  the  federal environmental licensingdue to offshore oil and gas exploration and production. Participatory workshops were held between the months of November 2016 and January 2017, with 33 representatives from the municipalities of Santa Luzia do Itanhi, Estância and Indiaroba, in Sergipe, and Conde and Jandaíra, in the state of Bahia. The main results pointed to the recognition of traditional fishing communities, accompanied by incentives to reflect on the realities experienced, which brought relevant elements for the analysis of socio-environmental conflicts:  impacts;  actors  involved;  and  possible  solutions  seen  by  the  research  participants.  Participatory actions   provide   opportunities   for   articulation   to   manage   conflicts   and   think   about   alternatives   for socioenvironmental  transformation  collectively  in  favor  of  the  struggle  for  the  conservation  of  coastal environments.; El objetivo del artículo es analizar la Educación Ambiental (EA) crítica en el proceso de constitución de los conflictos socioambientales de las comunidades pesqueras de la costa entre Sergipe y Bahía, en el área cubierta por el Programa de Educación Ambiental con Comunidades Costeras(PEAC). PEAC es el resultado de una medida de mitigación, requerida por IBAMA, como obligatoria en la licencia ambiental federal debido a la exploración y producción de petróleo y gas en alta mar. Se realizaron talleres participativos entre los meses de noviembre de 2016 y enero de 2017, con 33 representantes de los municipios de Santa Luzia do Itanhi, Estância e  Indiaroba, en Sergipe, y Conde y Jandaíra, en el estado de Bahía. Los principales resultados apuntaron al reconocimiento de las comunidades pesqueras tradicionales, acompañado de incentivos para reflexionar sobre las realidades vividas, que aportaron elementos relevantes para el análisis de los conflictos socioambientales: impactos;  actores  involucrados;  y  posibles  soluciones  vistas  por  los  participantes  de  la  investigación.  Las acciones participativas brindan espacios de articulación para gestionar conflictos y pensar colectivamente en alternativas  de  transformación  socioambiental  a  favor  de  la  lucha  por  la  conservaciónde  los  ambientes costeros.</description>
