It focuses on the case of RenovaBR, the most prominent among the organizations known as “Political Renewal Movements” (PRM). These initiatives emerged largely in response to the critical juncture that followed the June 2013 contention cycle . In this context, the research analyzes the social backgrounds and associative ties of the 118 candidates supported by RenovaBR in the 2018 elections, seeking to understand how, in the wake of post-2013 political opportunities, the organization worked to redirect its members’ civic engagement toward representative institutions through electoral participation. The analysis unfolds across three complementary axes. The first reconstructs the historical conditions that enabled the emergence of the PRM – especially RenovaBR – highlighting how they were shaped through the discursive appropriation of the legitimacy crisis affecting Brazil’s political system. The second investigates the social trajectories and political agenda of the 2018 Renova candidates’, linking them to ideas and actors that surfaced during the 2013 cycle of mobilizations. The third maps the ties between these candidacies and civil society organizations, revealing how political renewal is structured through specific associative circuits. Drawing from this analytical framework, the thesis argues that political renewal groups reframed diffuse and contentious criticisms of the political system and the state – articulated between 2013 and 2016 – into a project of institutional occupation. In doing so, the so-called “renewers” mobilized technical competencies, connections to organized civil society, and the discourse of political professionalization as strategies for public legitimation. The study further shows that, on the one hand, such initiatives can be interpreted as responses to the crisis of representation and the closure of the Brazilian party system, as recognized in existing literature. On the other hand, it demonstrates that, despite their rhetoric of inclusion of the “ordinary citizen” in politics, these organizations are grounded in a selective ecology of civil society actors, primarily linking middle- and upper-class participation and associative networks to non-hegemonic center and right-wing political parties. Finally, the dissertation contributes to the scholarly agenda on the outcomes of collective action by proposing that the PRM be understood as institutional legacies of the 2013 protest cycle – translating social demands into non-contentious repertoires of institutional engagement. Starting from a controversial history in which psychoanalysis influenced and was influenced by psychiatric practices, the research sought to make explicit how this ambivalence opened space, at the same time, for complicities and resistances. Nowadays, this discussion acquires urgency in times of frank psychiatric expansion, when diagnostic identities begin to circulate as rapid explanations for the administration of conduct. The social value of suffering and the moralization it underwent in different phases of the construction of the psy knowledges were also highlighted. In this scenario, antipsychiatry was taken as a critical position toward psychiatric power, the violence perpetrated in the form of treatment, and the asylum logic that becomes established without the need for walls. Finally, possibilities for counter-hegemonic practices were pointed out as forms of demedicalizing practices with which psychoanalysis could ally itself. 2026-02-10T00:00:00Z https://ri.ufs.br/jspui/handle/riufs/24793 Título: Convergência de agile e design: um framework integrativo para eficiência, inovação e melhorias contínuas na experiência do usuário Autor(es): Dantas, Silvio Mario Felix Abstract: Agile is a software development framework that focuses on putting the customer first, prioritizing functional projects over comprehensive documentation, valuing active customer participation, and incorporating feedback through incremental deliveries. The goal is to provide a good user experience. However, research points to shortcomings in problem understanding and solution-finding in projects that adopt Agile. Therefore, its application in conjunction with other approaches is recommended to address these deficiencies. In this context, considering design management approaches as complementary methodologies can generate a valuable combination, integrating design, innovation, and technology. This research aims to create a framework model that integrates characteristics of Design Thinking and User-Centered Design, seeking to enhance the agile SCRUM development process. To this end, literature reviews were conducted on the proposed themes, as well as a systematic literature mapping to build the state of the art. A survey was also conducted with leaders, managers, and developers involved in agile development, in addition to analyzing the points of convergence between design management practices and Agile, forming the necessary basis for the conceptual design of the framework. Based on the findings, a data triangulation is proposed to obtain meaningful insights for the development model. Multidisciplinary frameworks provide a broader perspective for problem-solving; the adoption of such practices represents a significant advancement in the creation of software and products with strategic differentiation and a focus on solving feasible user problems. 2025-07-28T00:00:00Z
