Abstract: The present research proposes to understand Nietzsche's critique of the concept of subject and&#xD;
the importance of the statute of the body as the leading conductive thread of his critique in the&#xD;
historical context of the metaphysical tradition. According to Nietzsche, philosophy has&#xD;
conventionalized the idea of a subject with "atomistic" characteristics, as if it were an&#xD;
essentialist category. In this dissertation, we will investigate the concepts of "I", subject,&#xD;
consciousness, and subjectivity in the light of Nietzsche's notion of physio-psychology as&#xD;
established in the late phase of his philosophy. The body is the conductive thread that leads to&#xD;
the philosopher's critique of the idea of a metaphysical subject; the body understood as a&#xD;
structure of many souls, is the same as many struggles between wills of power, and hence, for&#xD;
Nietzsche, there is nothing like “one” subject, nor there is something as a sovereign "I". In&#xD;
Nietzsche's philosophy, this biological organization, that is the body, is understood as a&#xD;
hierarchical form of instincts that fight between themselves for a plus of strength; a&#xD;
conception whose foundation is his doctrine of the will to power. The relevance of this&#xD;
research consists in the attempt to demonstrate that Nietzsche is a radical critic of the notion&#xD;
of subject, based on the status of the body. The research concludes itself with the idea that the&#xD;
body is, for the philosopher, the consequence of a hierarchical organization between wills, as&#xD;
well as with the idea that our perception of the “I” as a unity is due to an interpretation of&#xD;
exhausted bodies.</description>

Abstract: The present work aims to analyze, from an intersectional perspective, the connection between&#xD;
different forms of domination, more specifically sexism and speciesism, in order to identify the&#xD;
consequences of these interconnections. In the first chapter will be presented the work O Animal&#xD;
que Logo Sou, by Jacques Derrida, to analyze the common points and existing limits between the&#xD;
animal and the human, from what would be determined, according to Derrida, as what is proper to&#xD;
man. We seek to observe to what extent such a limit would legitimize the subjection of other living&#xD;
beings. The concept of sentience will be presented as another form of limit, as a common border&#xD;
to be considered between humans and non-humans. In the second chapter, it is intended to present&#xD;
the concepts of carnism, carnophalogocentrism and sexual politics of meat, in order to develop a&#xD;
further study on the imbrications between gender and species, as common pillars to the sexist and&#xD;
speciesist structures. The characteristic attributes of the established dominant subjectivity will then&#xD;
be examined from the perspective of the presented concepts. In the third chapter, will be presented&#xD;
the ecofeminist theory, in its animalistic aspect, as a necessary counterpoint and as a form of&#xD;
resistance to the domination exercised over women and non-human animals. Therefore, we attempt&#xD;
to develop an argument focused in presenting the contribution of ecofeminist theory to the&#xD;
deconstruction of the carnophalogocentric subject.</description>

Abstract: The present research aims to investigate the concept of Aufhebung [sublation] in Hegel (1770-&#xD;
1831). The concept appears in a particularly relevant way in the final part of the “quality”&#xD;
moment of the Doctrine of Being, in the books that Hegel dedicated to Logic. Hegel wrote&#xD;
two books on Logic: the Science of Logic of 1812-1816, and the first volume of the&#xD;
Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences in Outline, of 1817. In the Science of Logic,&#xD;
specifically in the Doctrine of Being, Hegel separates a part entitled “Observation” to briefly&#xD;
address the term Aufhebung and its concept. It is in this context that Hegel reflects most on&#xD;
the expression. Apparently, this occurs as a result of an explanatory need regarding the term,&#xD;
demonstrating its possible difficulties. Thus, when demonstrating the problems related to the&#xD;
concept of Aufhebung worked by Hegel himself, there is a need for an investigation, which&#xD;
seeks to clarify what its difficulties are and how they can be overcome. In the doctrine of&#xD;
being, being, nothing and becoming are presented as systematic categories of speculative&#xD;
logic. The concept of Aufhebung appears as a necessary condition for the unfolding of logic. It&#xD;
is what makes each category move to another. Therefore, in becoming, sublation is a&#xD;
movement that suspends or raises all other categories, allowing the transition from one state&#xD;
to another. Thus, we present as a hypothesis that the concept of Aufhebung can be clarified in&#xD;
light of the problems related to the concept of becoming, present in the Science of Logic -&#xD;
Doctrine of Being - and in the Encyclopedia. In the development of the research, we analyzed&#xD;
the question of the philosophical method in Hegel, in order to present what he understands by&#xD;
logic and its main characteristics, important in the difference in relation to formal logic. We&#xD;
also approach the absolute form, which appears throughout his system. Then, we deepen the&#xD;
question of the dialectic of being-nothing-becoming and its relation with the concept of&#xD;
Aufhebung. Finally, we deal with the modality of contingency and necessity in dialectical&#xD;
logic and the problem of the beginning in Hegel.</description>
