Título: Bricelets : Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial de Sergipe, memorial artístico
Autor(es): Sobral, Iago Pedra
Abstract: In this artistic memoir, We explore the methodology of art research in the field of visual arts, with the aim of interpreting the context of our artistic production in detail. We present a visual narrative that values the object bricelets de São Cristóvão, inserting it into an investigation that contextualises it within a creative process. We documented this work process by developing an artistic production comprising 12 works, paintings made using mixed media, and we incorpo- rated an interview into the process to enrich our work. With the bricelets de São Cristóvão as the main subject, in this artistic memoir our work explores the themes of cultural heritage and memory, art and social history, as well as theories about artistic practice and materiality Our aim was to build memory about bricelets, a significant element of the intangible cultural he- ritage of São Cristóvão and Sergipe, expressing the richness and importances of these traditions. We conclude that, by referring to the bricelets de São Cristóvão, we have produced works of art that dialogue with the language of the visual arts, contributing to the appreciation of this heritage.

Abstract: Throughout history, colors have acquired their own meanings when used in isolation, being able to transform interpretations by simply attributing a certain color to an object. They can be used in religious contexts, rituals or as indicators of status, colors carry with them distinct sensations and interpretations. This memorial aims to investigate the sensations and interpretations aroused by the emotional charge arising from the exclusive use of the colors Yellow and Blue in paintings on canvas. Research on color and its history, associated with the psychodynamics of colors, allows us to understand how Yellow and Blue are intrinsically linked, regardless of the context in which they are applied, be it in art, commerce, design, social interactions, emotions or physical perception. The final investigation comes from the production and analysis of four canvases that seek, with the focus on colors and less on the representative character of the shapes, to explore the visual potential present in the simultaneous contrast of these colors, through oil painting, dividing the canvases into these two colors to observe how these colors work together.

O inconsciente e a inteligência na fotografia : a estética benjaminiana como ferramenta política

Título: O inconsciente e a inteligência na fotografia : a estética benjaminiana como ferramenta política

Abstract: Surrealism and photography occupy an important place in Walter Benjamin’s work on art and modernity, being analyzed by him as manifestations of a potentially political, that is, emancipatory, experience. This study seeks to understand how Benjamin articulates these elements through the notion of "profane illumination," viewing them as possible responses to the crisis of intelligence brought about by modernity. By analyzing his texts on politics, photography, and art, this research examines how Surrealism functions as a critical art that challenges common perceptions and knowledge. The study explores the relationships between technique, experience, and politics, observing how Benjamin identifies the image—particularly photography—as a means of reconfiguring thought and displacing reason. In this way, the research aims to understand the role of the image in overcoming the crisis of intelligence, based on the transformative action that Benjamin attributes to art in his time.

Título: Escultura com materiais alternativos : impacto no desenvolvimento criativo de alunos do ensino médio

Abstract: This monograph investigates the creative development of high school students from the state public school system through sculptural practices using alternative materials. The research also addresses aspects of pedagogical practice, such as the adaptation of didactic resources to stimulate creativity and problem-solving. Additionally, it presents an analysis of data collected through questionnaires applied before and after the practical activities. One of the main objectives of this work is to catalog consistent qualitative data that may serve as a basis for future pedagogical proposals focused on sculpture production with non-conventional materials, offering a cost-effective and accessible alternative to traditional ones. Materials such as cornstarch, bar soap, and cardboard were used, resulting in visually engaging creations exhibited at the end of the study. The monograph also includes classroom observation records, lesson plans, and the theoretical foundation that supported the pedagogical practices, reflecting the experiences gained during academic training and their implications for students’ artistic development.
