Título: Benshi : processo de criação de roteiro de curta-metragem ficcional
Autor(es): Fonseca, Thereza Christina dos Santos
Abstract: The act of creating is an irregular journey that arouses curiosity in those observing from the outside, often seen as a phenomenon full of mysteries, in which creativity seemingly emerges out of nowhere. However, creating is almost a scientific method, involving observation, research, and experimentation to achieve the final result. In this context, this study aims to dissect the development process of the script for Benshi, a fictional short film project, analyzing all stages of its conception, from the theoretical foundation, based on the research of Célia Sakurai and Alexandre Kishimoto on Japanese immigration and Asian cinema, to the scriptwriting itself, which incorporates the kishōtenketsu narrative model as an alternative to the classical Western structure.

Quando a chuva passar : o registro de um processo, proposta de roteiro de curta-metragem ficcional

Título: Quando a chuva passar : o registro de um processo, proposta de roteiro de curta-metragem ficcional
Autor(es): Santos, Micael Bomfim dos
Abstract: The project Quando a Chuva Passar consists of the creation of a short film screenplay articulated with a reflection on the author’s own creative process. Throughout its writing trajectory, the script went through different drafts and treatments, being developed in screenwriting labs, industry meetings, and consultancy spaces, which enabled fundamental exchanges for the maturation of the work. The creative process is closely related to the author’s personal history and to the territory of Mato Grosso, located in the municipality of Rio de Contas, the town where he grew up. It is grounded in territorial, geographical, and social conflicts that shape the subjective constitution of the protagonist, Antônio. The project is mainly anchored in the concepts developed by Cecília Almeida Salles regarding the creative process, especially in the understanding of the artwork as a gesture in construction. Quando a Chuva Passar is not only a narrative about the discovery of sexuality by a man from the countryside, but also a sensitive account of rupture with patriarchal structures, while simultaneously engaging the author in his own reflection on belonging, identity, and his relationship with his territory of origin.
