Título: Uso do Guia GAM em serviços de saúde mental : uma revisão de escopo sobre desafios e estratégias de implementação
Autor(es): Alves, Deiziele de Santana; Correa, Gabrielle Santos
Abstract: Introduction: With the increasing number of people diagnosed with mental disorders, the need for support methods for this population has become evident. In this context, Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS) offer care such as psychosocial rehabilitation and reintegration, as well as the safe use of psychotropic medications. However, due to the population's lack of knowledge about these medications, the Autonomous Medication Management (GAM) Guide was adopted. Objectives: To conduct a scoping review on the implementation of the GAM Guide in mental health services, focusing on challenges and strategies. Method: This is a descriptiveexploratory study with a qualitative approach, using a scoping review as its methodology. Results and discussion: The main challenges identified were the difficulty of adapting the guide to the Brazilian reality and the different profiles of health service users, as well as the qualification of health professionals. Strategies include reformulating the guide's terms, using dynamics and playful activities, and creating academic courses focused on GAM. Conclusion: There was a lack of detailed descriptions of the strategies, and a greater concentration of studies in the Central-West and South regions. Therefore, we suggest that research be conducted in other regions of the country to ensure the effective implementation of GAM and enable autonomy for users of these services.

Farmacoterapia do transtorno de deficit de atenção com hiperatividade

Abstract: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is defined as a constant condition of distraction and/or hyperactivity/impulsivity that affects the development of the affected individual. Although the diagnosis is more common in children, ADHD can continue throughout adulthood in around 30 to 60% of cases. Adolescents and adults who continue to have symptoms often experience problems with anxiety (47%), mood (38%), impulse control (20%) and the use of illicit substances (15%). The main objective of this study is to survey the pharmacological therapy available for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. To carry out this review, the bibliographic research was carried out following methodological standards indicated by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) in the PubMed, Scopus and Directory of Open Access Journals databases in August 2016 and by search manual. There were scientific articles and information from health bodies such as the Brazilian Attention Deficit Association (ABDA) and the Pubchem and Drugs databases. Concluding that, it is understood that the pharmacological treatment of ADHD is complex and there are several applied and effective options, such as methylphenidate and amphetamine derivatives, both with evident applicability and well-clarified adverse effects. Other treatments are being promoted, such as agomelatine and atomoxetine, and are preferable in specific situations to achieve greater therapeutic success.

Abstract: Introduction: The disciplines of Pharmacotechnics I and II are an important part in the training of pharmacists, as they are essential professionals qualified for the development and manipulation of formulations. In this way, a monitoring program was implemented using the competencies and skills indicated by the World Economic Forum as a reference. Objective: To present the basis of the pedagogical foundation and understand how monitoring contributes to the development of the skills and abilities mentioned by the World Economic Forum. Methodology: The logbook was created in pharmacotechnique I and the course completion work in pharmacotechnique II. At the end, a questionnaire was administered. Results and Discussion: In this sense, students were able to choose which skills they think they worked on throughout the work and described the experience according to the skills chosen. Conclusion: Through the work carried out, therefore, students had the opportunity to develop innovative formulations and shared their experiences and perceptions. This training model can serve as a model for other disciplines, as well as contributing to the training of students and monitors.

Abstract: Introduction: Bipolar Disorder (BD) is a mental disorder characterized by extreme mood swings, which can range from manic episodes with euphoria, hyperactivity, and nervousness; to depressive episodes with sadness, discouragement, and suicidal thoughts, which may alternate with periods of normal mood. Lithium carbonate is considered the firstline drug in the treatment of BD, especially in its acute phase, as it minimizes relapses and suicidal thoughts. Objective: The objective of this research was to conduct an integrative review focusing on identifying the most recent literature on the use of lithium carbonate in the treatment of BD. Method: An integrative review was carried out with a time interval of 5 years (2020 to 2024), of articles in Portuguese and English. The SciELO, Virtual Health Library, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases were accessed, with approximately 189 articles found. Result: Six articles were selected, where it was observed that BD is a serious disease, which can be accompanied by other mental disorders, such as depression. Lithium has proven, over the years, to be the best choice in the treatment and control of symptoms. There is a need for routine examinations and multidisciplinary monitoring for better safety and therapeutic care. Conclusion: This review contributed to identify what current scientific research reveals about the use of lithium carbonate in the treatment of BD, being the standard in the treatment of this pathology, as it is the mood stabilizer due to its comprehensive efficacy in all phases of BD, in addition to antidepressant properties.
