Abstract: The paper presents part of the research productions that accompanied the con-struction of bodies inserted in a Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and Other Drugs (CAPS-AD) of a city in the northern region of Brasil, focusing more sharplyon masculinities arrangements. Special attention is given to the tension between normalized bodies and attempts at resistance and (re) exist. The argument is in thefield of public health, particularly mental health, and rooted in gender and sexual-ity studies. The data production methodology made use of observations recordedin a diary, itinerant follow-up of a collective of research, interviews, focus groupswhere, among other things, was discussed diary topics, conversation circles and workshops. The attempt was to produce a way of collective narrating strategy, combining up experience and body (un)learn well as ways of producing healthcare and doing research.

Abstract: This study aimed to cross-culturally adapt and investigate the psychometric properties of the Parental Stress Scale (PSS) for Brazilian Portuguese. There were 304 participating parents, distributed in the same proportion by gender (mothers and fathers). Initially, we
carried out stages of translation and investigation of the scale’s content validity; then we conducted an empirical analysis with the
translated PSS. The results of the exploratory factor analysis indicated a final structure for the PSS composed of 16 items divided
into two subscales, a unifactorial model with internal consistency adequate for the total score. There was also evidence of concurrent
validity of the PSS with the PSS-14 and the IPP. Finally, in this first psychometric study in Brazil, the PSS presented satisfactory
psychometric properties, proving to be a valid and reliable instrument to measure parental stress in parents in general.; Este estudio objetivó adaptar e investigar evidencias de validez de la Escala de Estrés Parental (PSS) para el portugués brasileño.
unifactorial y exhibiendo consistencia interna adecuada..

Abstract: Objective: to investigate the physical structure of homes of patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis. Method: in this quantitative, cross-sectional study of 90 peritoneal dialysis patients, data was collected by interview and direct observation at their homes. The study was approved by the ethics committee (CAAE 0310.0.107.000-11). The ‘Structure’ component of health care assessment was used for the analysis. Results: most of the patients were older adults, male, with little schooling and low income. Peritoneal dialysis was performed mostly in the bedroom, where walls were intact and ceilings, lined. Cracked were observed in floors (4.4%), and cracks and damp, in walls (15.6% and 11.1%, respectively). Most of the houses had bedroom sinks for hand hygiene (76.6%), treated water (87.8%), appropriate storage for material (73.3%) and sewerage (76.7%) where waste was discharged. Conclusion: the ‘Structure’ component revealed patients exposed to risks that might aggravate their health condition.; evaluar la estructura física del hogar de los pacientes en diálisis peritoneal.
