The objective of this research is to investigate the tracks of the popular culture group Cacumbi of Mestre Deca, based on pathographies, to understand the relationships between city, belonging, place and heritage in the city center of Laranjeiras - SE. To develop this research, theoretical studies were carried out, through bibliographical surveys that permeate popular cultures, belonging and place. The experimental field research was developed based on the paths that the group takes in the city, to understand the perception of the popular culture players about the space of the city of Laranjeiras. To obtain the research data, interviews with the players, pathographies prepared from the monitoring of processes, documentary research, and systematic observation were conducted, which helps in understanding the players' approach to the city. Based on the interviews, reflections were made on the categories of belonging and place.

Abstract: Taking as a starting point the notion of “hybrid cultures”, established by Néstor Canclini,
this work analyzes graffiti (and pixo) as an aesthetic manifestation that crosses borders by
making use of forms of social interaction and communication made on the margins of
institutions that reproduce the traits of an unequal society. The main objective of the study is
to investigate whether, in addition, the culture of street art wouldn't involve another aspect,
equally important, namely: a new way of teaching and learning, based on concrete
experiences, thus contributing to emancipation and politicization of social agents, as in the
case of women, whether in urban life or in the school environment, since the school also
bears the marks of exclusion and tends to favor those with cultural capital. In this sense, we
indicate a contrast between education theorists such as Pierre Bourdieu, on one hand, Paulo
Freire and Jacques Rancière, on the other. In addition to the concept of “hybrid cultures”, we
work with forms of micropolitical action. Throughout the research, some graffiti workshops
were held in 2 schools in the state of Sergipe and in a public square in the city of Barcelona,
Spain. This is a qualitative research, which made use of the following methodological
instruments for data collection: filmic and photographic records, semi-structured
questionnaires and interviews.

Corporeidade na Capoeira Angola: formas de viver e pensar grafadas no corpo

Título: Corporeidade na Capoeira Angola: formas de viver e pensar grafadas no corpo
Autor(es): Souza, Glauciane da Silva
Abstract: When we think about Brazilian social structure, particularly in the context of popular cultures,
we cannot ignore the contributions of our ancestors—a people socially, administratively, and
politically organized, with their own traditions, beliefs, principles, and values, who brought
back to life, through bodily practices, the Africa that was taken from them. Based on this
understanding, Capoeira Angola carries memories translated through the body that connect us
to the principles of ancient African cosmology, especially of the Bakongo people, as I seek to
demonstrate in this study. Rooted in Bantu principles and worldviews, Capoeira Angola is an
ancestral space-time that keeps alive the corporeal memory of what once was and is reactivated
in the 'roda'. Within this space-time, I reflected on the ancestral narratives of the Bakongo,
using Mestre Pastinha's capoeira as a reference and starting from the analysis of the concept of
'body proper', where I find the necessary means for the description and interpretation of
phenomena, as a researcher and practitioner of Capoeira Angola. In a qualitative and
transdisciplinary approach, I used the concepts of corporeality, body proper, and orality, along
with the fundamentals of Bakongo cosmology

Título: Pela boca de velhos: memória sobre os pregões de comida de rua no bairro Santo Antônio nas décadas de 1970 e 1980
Autor(es): Naziazeno, Paloma Vieira de Melo
Abstract: This dissertation seeks to discuss the relationship between street food and popular cultures,
from the perspective of decoloniality, through the memories of old people from the Santo
Antônio neighborhood of Aracaju, with street food hawking in the 1970s and 1980s as the main
focus. More specifically, the study seeks to a) develop a historical overview of the Santo
Antônio neighborhood from its origins until the end of the 1980s; b) analyze the memorial
accounts of "old Santo Antonians" in relation to the practice of pregões as a food culture and
tradition during the 1970s and 1980s, as well as c) identify from the subjects' memorial records,
socio-historical aspects of their daily lives in the Santo Antônio neighborhood based on the
decolonial notion of affections. In order to do this, it brought together different epistemological
concepts that are pertinent to popular cultures and street food, such as hybridization, border
thinking, crossroads and the memory of old people. To do this, she used the studies of Nestor
Canclini, Walter Mignolo, Lêda Maria Martins, Luiz Rufino and Ecléa Bosi as references. In
order to carry out the research, we opted for a qualitative approach using the case study method,
integrating exploratory, bibliographical and documentary research. A semi-structured interview
technique was used to collect the accounts and then analyze them. At the end of the analysis, it
was observed that the sales pitches refer not only to flavors that have been marked in the
memory, but also to the l.
