Abstract: The purpose of this text is to analyse how pleasure and suffering at work are discussed in the journal&#xD;
Psicologia, Organizações e Trabalho. This is the journal of the Brazilian Association of&#xD;
Organisational and Work Psychology, whose central theme is human work. We selected a set of&#xD;
seven articles published between 2001 and 2003, when the discussion of 'pleasure and suffering at&#xD;
work' intensified. For each article we tried to identify the theoretical basis, the nature of the research&#xD;
carried out, the research population, the approach adopted and the results obtained. Analysis of the&#xD;
articles indicated that the lack of recognition of the importance of the worker, job insecurity, lack of&#xD;
resources, limited autonomy and overload of activities act as sources of suffering at work, causing&#xD;
frequent use of medication. On the other hand, gratification, relative freedom, collaborative situations&#xD;
and motivation produce pleasure and recognition in the workplace. The direct relationship between&#xD;
the work performed and the need to meet survival needs leads workers to develop defensive&#xD;
strategies as a means of dealing with the tensions and conflicts of work.</description>

Abstract: The text aims at a reflection, by analysis of canonical correlation&#xD;
involving explanatory variables, attitude of observation of the&#xD;
family in relation to the student and the load of effect of these&#xD;
in the incidence of school violence. Check the level of parental&#xD;
attention as a possibility to mitigate and collaborate with&#xD;
intervention proposals at school. The analysis is based on IBGE&#xD;
data, the percentage of students in the 9th grade of Elementary&#xD;
School whose parents and guardians knew what they were doing in&#xD;
their free time, by gender and administrative dependence of the&#xD;
school, by capital, in the period from 2009 to 2019 , with data on&#xD;
illegal possession of weapons and narcotics. It is noted in this&#xD;
study that the observation time of those responsible is relevant to&#xD;
work on public policies to combat violence in the school&#xD;
environment. Causes of violence go beyond the limits of the&#xD;
student's residence, both physically and virtually, living together&#xD;
in the school context exposes them to external social mechanisms&#xD;
that need monitoring. It becomes evident that the watchful eye of&#xD;
educational actors must be constant, otherwise the family's silence&#xD;
will become the school's cry, victimizing the muteness of innocent&#xD;
lives forever.</description>

Abstract: This text proposes reflecting on the relationship between childhood and territory in the Full-Time&#xD;
School (FTS) of Governador Valadares, which universalized full-time education from 2010 onwards&#xD;
in the municipal education system for children enrolled in daycares, preschools, and elementary&#xD;
education. The adopted methodology, of a qualitative nature, is a documentary study, whose analysis&#xD;
corpus is composed of 4 guiding notebooks of the FTS proposal and the Pedagogical Political Project&#xD;
of two early childhood education institutions in a vulnerable territory of the city. Theoretical&#xD;
reflections from Childhood Sociology, Geography of Childhoods, and Comprehensive Education/fulltime education are employed, guiding the analysis that reflects on childhoods in the FTS, Territory&#xD;
and Childhoods in the FTS. The conclusions point to the importance of valuing, within the extended&#xD;
school time, the voices of children and what they allow us to understand about the territories, as the&#xD;
school can enhance the recognition and appreciation of childhoods in the territories and children's&#xD;
rights to school spaces and other spaces in which they live.</description>

Abstract: Cet article présente une analyse de l’enseignement du français dans la province de Sergipe sous&#xD;
l’Empire brésilien (1830-1837). À cette fin, nous avons effectué l’analyse et la comparaison des&#xD;
sources recueillies : Législation éducative de l’époque, journaux se référant à la période coupée,&#xD;
Règlement de l’instruction publique, Rapports d’inspection et historiographie liée à la question. Afin&#xD;
d’approfondir le traitement des sources précédemment mentionnées, nous nous basons sur les&#xD;
hypothèses théoriques liées à Discipline et culture scolaire de Chervel (1990) et Julia (2001). Les&#xD;
recherches effectuées pour l’élaboration de cet article nous ont amenés à comprendre que&#xD;
l’enseignement de la langue française dans la province de Sergipe était motivé par les exigences des&#xD;
facultés brésiliennes qui, à partir de 1827, ont commencé à exiger des certificats d’approbation en&#xD;
langue française, grammaire latine, rhétorique, philosophie rationnelle et morale et géométrie pour&#xD;
l’admission des étudiants dans les cours de droit. De plus, cet article nous apporte des informations&#xD;
significatives sur le processus de structuration de l’enseignement secondaire, la création des chaires&#xD;
françaises dans cette province et les défis auxquels elle est confrontée pour continuer à être présente&#xD;
dans les établissements d’enseignement.</description>
