Abstract: Considering the educator's constant search for teaching strategies capable of addressing the specificities of classrooms as both a space and a means of production, this work highlights the importance of active methodologies in the dissemination and construction of critical and dynamic knowledge. It seeks, above all, to discuss pertinent issues that, for now, extend beyond
the four walls of the classroom, such as the testing of new teaching methodologies, in this case
the Geozine, and how it adapts to the teaching of physical geography. Thus, the combination of
different languages used by those who produce a Geozine generates geographical representation and communication, offering auxiliary support in the construction and expansion of school conceptual content. Therefore, the objective of this work is to evaluate the Geozine as a methodological language used for teaching more specific themes in human geography, suitable for teaching physical geography/geosciences, taking into account the content considered "transversal" by normative documents, specifically climate change, from a qualitative analysis, valuing individual subjectivity and the context of space. To analyze the results, the content analysis methodology proposed by Laurence Bardin was used, involving stages such as pre- analysis, material exploration, and results treatment, considering each stage with its respective potential for exploration. Throughout the analysis process, it was possible to observe a progressive response to the research objectives, as well as to identify that, with the application of the Geozine methodology in teaching about climate change, data were collected that prove significant results demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach, such as moving beyond common sense and critically exploring the context in which they are situated, further contributing to the advancement of research testing teaching methodologies that are truly effective for the classroom and the flexibility of content sampling.

Rios (in)visíveis em Itabaiana : a questão das águas urbanas no ensino das geociências

Título: Rios (in)visíveis em Itabaiana : a questão das águas urbanas no ensino das geociências
Autor(es): Lima, Matheus Santos
Abstract: Discussions about water are an increasingly debated topic, especially in relation to environmental problems in urban centers. Disorderly urban expansion without the accompaniment of sustainable planning limits the availability of water resources. Rivers, streams and streams are channeled, suppressed and filled; Urban drainage systems are linked to sanitary sewage, and solid waste management is precarious, as is the issue of sewage treatment. These problems are present in the daily life of Brazilian urban centers. Based on this, it is necessary to develop and produce knowledge about the dynamics of water, and all the surrounding issues, discussion, reflection and problematization are necessary points to offer the population a critical view of the situation and the basis for demanding improvements in relation to issues of the urban fabric. Thus, this work aimed to analyze the problem related to the channeling systems of water bodies in Itabaiana – SE and to promote the understanding of the importance of sustainable urban planning from the application of a didactic sequence in basic education. To this end, based on fieldwork and analysis of the city's urban expansion process, mapping of Itabaiana's main canals and their areas of influence was produced. This allowed for the analysis of the relationship between the municipality's urban expansion and the increased recurrence of flooding phenomena, as well as the identification of potential future scenarios for urban water overflows in other parts of the city. Based on this material, a didactic sequence was
planned and implemented in a 1st-year high school class, focusing on the dynamics of urban water in Itabaiana, Sergipe. In this way, in addition to investigating increasingly frequent urban environmental problems in the city center, it was possible to presente the results and reflections on the issue to the school community, using active learning methodologies.

Abstract: In dry ecosystems, seeds may be exposed to pulses of high temperature and discontinuous hydration during germination. Beyond acting as stressors, these events can function as environmental cues that induce persistent adjustments and modulate germination as well as resilience to water deficit. This dissertation aimed to evaluate how exposure of seeds to high- temperature pulses and hydration–dehydration (HD) cycles influences the expression of stress memory in seeds and seedlings of Cenostigma pyramidale, a woody legume widely distributed in the Caatinga. Accordingly, the dissertation was structured into four articles. In Article I, we assessed the effects of HD cycles applied at different imbibition stages on germination and Early growth. HD cycles applied during early hydration increased germination and growth-related parameters, whereas cycles imposed at later stages reduced germination performance and seedling growth. In Article II, seeds were subjected to thermal pulses of 55, 65, and 75 °C for 30, 60, and 90 min. The results indicated high germination resilience, although germination kinetics and synchrony varied with pulse intensity and duration. In Article III, we tested the influence of pre-germinative treatments (high temperature, HD cycles, and their combination) on germination under water deficit induced with PEG 6000. Prior experiences reorganized the temporal dynamics of germination, consistent with stress memory. In Article IV, we examined the persistence of these signals during the seedling stage under intermittent drought, showing that stress memory is also expressed in seedlings, enhancing resilience and recovery after rehydration through physiological adjustments. We conclude that C. pyramidale responds to semiarid conditions not only through resistance, but also through plasticity triggered by heat and discontinuous hydration cues, expressed during the seed phase and early establishment.

Conexões: Yasujiro Ozu e a Nouvelle Vague Japonesa

Título: Conexões: Yasujiro Ozu e a Nouvelle Vague Japonesa
Autor(es): Ribeiro, Daniel Ferraz Tanan
Abstract: This dissertation explores the formal, aesthetic, and thematic connections between the
work of Yasujiro Ozu and the Taiwanese New Wave movement, focusing on directors
Hou Hsiao-Hsien and Edward Yang. Although separated by decades and distinct historical
contexts, these cinemas share similar approaches to time, memory, and everyday life.
Ozu’s minimalist mise-en-scène, focus on domestic spaces, and the philosophy of mono
no aware influenced a generation of filmmakers seeking contemplative and emotionally
resonant cinema. The first part presents an overview of the New Wave as a transnational
movement, from its French origins to its manifestations in Japan. The study then turns to
Ozu’s work, emphasizing his connection to shōshimin-geki, his use of static shots,
elliptical cuts, and family-centered narratives. Finally, it examines the rise of the
Taiwanese New Wave during a period of political and cultural transition, especially after
the end of Martial Law in 1987. Films such as A Time to Live, A Time to Die (1985) and
Taipei Story (1985) show aesthetic and philosophical affinities with Ozu. This
comparative analysis is grounded in bibliographical research and film analysis, drawing
on authors like David Bordwell (1988), James Udden (2007), Paul Schrader (2018) and
Woojeong Joo (2017). The conclusion highlights Ozu’s lasting impact on contemporary
Asian cinema, as both stylistic and philosophical inspiration that reverberates in different
times and different cultures.
