Title: O campo de ensino da sociologia : análise dos capitais e estratégias dos professores da educação básica de Sergipe
Authors: Medeiros, Laura Beatriz Oliveira
Abstract: This research objective to analyze the trajectories of sociology teachers in basic education in Sergipe, based on Bourdieu's concepts of field, capital, and strategy, seeking to understand how these professionals construct their careers, the strategies used in their teaching practice, the capital incorporated, acquired, and objectified throughout their careers, and how it is mobilized to face the adversities present in the field of basic education. To this end, a bibliographic study on the history of sociology teaching was initially conducted. This stage provided the necessary theoretical foundation for understanding the process of constituting the field of sociology teaching, thus allowing us to identify how the construction of this field relates to the academic and professional trajectories of the teachers who work within it. In a second stage, semistructured interviews were conducted with high school sociology teachers in Sergipe. field and constructs meanings about the teaching of the subject. Based on the bibliographic study, it was found that the recurring discontinuity of the subject in school curricula, associated with precarious hiring conditions and the absence of public policies that value the teaching of Sociology, directly contributes to the weakening of the teaching career. From the analyses, it is possible to affirm that the trajectories of the Sociology teachers investigated are traversed by structural, historical, and institutional conditions that shape their choices, strategies, and possibilities of insertion and permanence in the educational field. The pursuit of academic qualifications and continuing education thus emerges as the main strategy for accumulating cultural and academic capital. While for some teachers these investments broaden their chances of insertion, stability, and diversification of professional activity, for others they encounter the limitations imposed by the precariousness of teaching work, the absence of institutional incentives, and the weak conversion of degrees into material value. Therefore, the analyses reveal the different forms of mobilization and conversion of capital—cultural, social, and symbolic—according to the positions occupied in the field.

Title: Um resgate histórico : as trajetórias das pioneiras do curso de Ciências Sociais na UFS
Authors: Santos, Igor Tadeu Dias dos
Abstract: The objective of this research concerns the female presence in the consolidation of the Social Sciences in Sergipe. The research focused on reconstructing the trajectories of these intellectuals who built their academic careers within the Federal University of Sergipe. To explore the social inscriptions of the women included in the study, it was essential to consult the minutes of meetings available at the Department of Social Sciences (DCS), from which it was possible to reconstruct these trajectories. I also consulted documents available in the Sociology Graduate Program and resolutions of the Council for Teaching, Research, and Extension (CONEPE) to reconstruct the process of institutionalizing the Social Sciences program at UFS. I conducted semi-structured interviews with some of these professors and with former students of the program. Finally, a bibliographical survey on intellectual trajectories and gender studies was conducted, which guided this research theoretically and methodologically. The results and discussions were divided into two sections, the first on the rescue of the foundation of the field of Social Sciences in Sergipe, from the period of the Catholic Faculty of Philosophy of Sergipe, until the foundation of the Social Sciences course at UFS in 1991. Throughout the work we were able to observe how these intellectuals worked to consolidate the Social Sciences in Sergipe.

Title: O rap no campo : uma etnografia do hip-hop, arte e trabalho dos jovens na Chapada Diamantina
Authors: Vieira, Ana Júlia Sateles
Abstract: This exploratory research contributes to the studies of rural youth and hip-hop as a youth movement, marginal and political culture that becomes a tool for the expression of identity and autonomy of youth in Chapada Diamantina. Studies on rural youth and hip-hop is a theme that holds a vast field of knowledge within the universe of academic research. Questions are raised about what are the trajectories and stigmas that at some point can fall on social actors, what are the starting points that built a hip-hop cultural movement in a peasant locality and, finally, but not least importantly, how the participants of the culture through the agency use this marginalized art as work and income. The methodology of this monograph will consist of three fundamental parts: bibliographic research, ethnographic research and interviews with young people from the hip-hop movement in Seabra-BA and Vale do Capão, Palmeiras-BA. The research results show the relationships that the social category of rural youth in Chapada Diamantina is fostering. A new cultural circuit produced by young people who create and maintain a marginalized art characteristic of rural life, treading new ways of working and fighting prejudice and stigma.

Title: Comunicação política digital : um estudo sobre a utilização das mídias sociais digitais por congressistas sergipanos
Authors: Castro, Bárbara Vitória Oliveira
Abstract: The study of the political use of digital social media is a topic that has been highlighted in contemporary social sciences, especially in political science. The general objective of this research is to understand how Sergipe's congressmen who stand out most on digital social media use these spaces to communicate with citizens during non-electoral periods. For this purpose, a bibliographical research was carried out that gave rise to the theoretical foundation of the work, a field research involving digital ethnography and content analysis and, lastly, ethnographic interviews, with the aim of understand the digital political communication of Sergipe congressmen in non-electoral periods. The main results of the research show that politicians from the Sergipe legislature tend to use digital social media as a way of propagating their benefits, disregarding posts with a more mobilizing bias; in addition to focusing on more personalized content, investing more in personal capital rather than delegated capital. The conclusion of the research was that the use of digital social media by politicians results in communication that follows an endless election logic, where politicians not only govern or legislate, but do so as if they were campaigning all the time.
