Ciclos do inevitável no filme Querô

Título: Ciclos do inevitável no filme Querô
Autor(es): Alves, Jonas dos Santos
Abstract: This paper analyzes the film Querô through the relationship between structural racism, state violence, incarceration, necropolitics, and the marginalization of Black bodies. The study draws on Querô’s trajectory to discuss how social exclusion emerges as a cycle that continues from one generation to the next. The film is approached as an object of critical visual literacy, taking into account images, framing, camera movements, and scenes of institutional violence. The theoretical framework draws on authors such as Silvio Almeida (2019), Michel Foucault (2011), Achille Mbembe (2018), Angela Davis (2018), and Abdias do Nascimento (1978). The concept of structural racism guides the understanding of the inequalities that shape the protagonist’s life from birth. The notion of necropolitics makes it possible to interpret the actions of the State toward lives regarded as disposable. The discussion of incarceration, based on Angela Davis, presents prison as a continuation of historical mechanisms of racial control. The analysis of Alzira highlights the vulnerability of marginalized women and the transmission of violence to her son. In Querô’s experience at FEBEM, the paper examines the construction of the “social villain” and the normalization of punishment. The rebellions and escapes are interpreted as attempts to break away from a structure that leads the protagonist toward destruction. In the final considerations, the author acknowledges gaps, especially regarding the character Alzira and a possible feminist approach. The paper therefore concludes that Querô exposes the cycles of exclusion, violence, and death imposed on Black and marginalized subjects

A autorrepresentação do professor de língua portuguesa em formação inicial

Título: A autorrepresentação do professor de língua portuguesa em formação inicial
Autor(es): Lima, José Clévisson dos Anjos
Abstract: This course completion work investigates how graduates of the Letters course of the Federal University of Sergipe, Campus Professor Alberto Carvalho, in Itabaiana/SE, represent themselves as future teachers of Portuguese Language, considering their conceptions of language, grammar, teaching of Portuguese Language and role of the teacher. Taking into account the notions of identity (Hall, 2006), representation (Jodelet, 1993), heterogeneity and linguistic variation (Bagno, 2015), the study is based on a field research, qualitative approach, effected by applying a questionnaire to eighteen graduates of the last period of the course. The analysis of the data revealed that most participants intend to develop pedagogical practices aligned with the assumptions of contemporary linguistic studies, recognizing language as a heterogeneous, dynamic and socially situated phenomenon. The results show that, despite the presence of positions aligned with the perspective of traditional grammar, there prevails a tendency to distance from normative conceptions and to value teaching approaches that contemplate linguistic diversity.

Bookredes e experiências literárias no instagram @kayleituras

Título: Bookredes e experiências literárias no instagram @kayleituras
Autor(es): Gois, Kaylaine Vasconcelos
Abstract: In this research, I seek to understand how booknetworks and reading clubs contribute to the formation of readers, based on my experience as the creator of the literary profile @kayleituras on Instagram and as a mediator of the Reading Club of the Pedro Paes Mendonça Foundation. The work has a qualitative approach, of a bibliographic, reflective and personal nature, articulating experiences with discussions about literature, the culture of participation in networks, literacy and reading mediation. Throughout the research, I present my trajectory as a reader and content producer, reflecting on the construction of booknetworks, the relationships established between readers and the influence of algorithms and digital platforms, in dialogue with Henry Jenkins, Sam Ford and Joshua Green (2015), Paula Sibilia (2016), Carlos D’Andréa (2020), Angela Kleiman (2008) and Byung-Chul Han (2015). From these discussions, it became clear that the @kayleituras profile and the Pedro Paes Mendonça Foundation's Reading Club constitute spaces for sharing literary experiences, fostering a sense of belonging, and collectively constructing meaning, thus promoting reader development and expanding access to literature.
