Therefore, knowledge of this correlation is important for effective control of both pathologies and multidisciplinary care for patients. This work aimed to understand the prevalence and periodontal condition of diabetic patients treated at the dental clinic of the Federal University of Sergipe in the last 10 years. This work was carried out cross-sectionally, through the evaluation of medical records of patients treated at the Periodontics clinic of the Department of Dentistry of the Federal University of Sergipe, Campus da Saúde João Cardoso Nascimento Júnior (DOD-HU). 1562 medical records were evaluated and a sample (N) of 102 patients diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus was obtained. Despite the limitations of the present study, the most prevalent diagnosis was Severe Generalized Chronic Periodontitis, corresponding to 32.55% of all cases. The condition brings physiological, as well as social, limitations to affected patients. Therefore, the relevance of studies that deepen knowledge for evidence-based dental practice stands out. The objective of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of different types of treatments indicated to promote analgesia in TMD, through a literature review. A search was carried out using health descriptors (DeCS), such as (Temporomandibular joint disorders, photobiomodulation, transcutaneous electrical stimulation, clostridium botulinum toxins, occlusal splints and pain), in digital databases (Pubmed, Cochrane, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde and Scielo). To select articles, they must meet the inclusion criteria, such as: being in English or Portuguese, having been published in the last 6 years, being a clinical trial or systematic review of clinical trials. 57 articles were found, after analyzing the inclusion and exclusion criteria for duplicates, 18 articles remained in the study. It was concluded that the tools studied have good therapeutic efficacy in cases of TMD, characterized by the improvement of its signs and symptoms, and in particular the improvement in pain, when compared to placebo. The presence of influencers and health professionals increasingly active in these digital environments contributes to the widespread dissemination and normalization of the results of dental procedures in society. The objective of this research is to analyze the scientific production on the influence of social media on the perception of facial and orofacial aesthetics through a bibliometric review, identifying research trends and the scientific impact of the studies. Regarding methodology, a search strategy was carried out using the Web of Science Core Collection (WoS-CC) databases, including original articles and reviews, without language restriction, from 2014 to 2026 and structured in three conceptual blocks. Studies that investigated the influence of social networks on the perception of facial and/or dental aesthetics were included. In the results, there is a progression in the number of articles published on the subject and the countries with the greatest influence are the United States and Saudi Arabia. In conclusion, this review can provide support for researchers and health professionals; therefore, it is recommended to encourage new bibliometric reviews in order to keep up with trends on this topic. Autor(es): Oliveira, Rômulo Gabriel Cruz de Abstract: Hypomineralization in primary teeth is a pathological condition with a complex and still unclear etiology that has increasingly attracted the interest of the scientific community due to its broad impact on the quality of life of pediatric patients. In this context, several studies aim to standardize diagnostic criteria and select the best strategies for the clinical management of this dental condition to promote improvements in oral well-being and avoid associated complications. For this systematic review, sources such as PubMed, Google Scholar SciELO, and BVS (Virtual Health Library) were consulted to analyze the most recent scientific productions relevant to the topic and answer the research question. The results show that the best approaches involve an accurate diagnosis of the extent and severity of the HMD and the use of minimally invasive techniques appropriate to each situation, combining the reliability of well-established techniques and materials with the innovative multimodality of new dental resources.
