The aim of this study was to analyze the complaints brought by parents and report perceived changes in their behaviors and their children. Five mothers and one father took part of this study. The data were collected through interviews. The results showed that parents have identified few positive children’s behaviors and had doubts about the educational practices. Parents relied on family support. In relation to the school they reported little information. About the group they expect to change their own behavior. In the end, parents assessed that their actions or perceptions concerning children had improved and only one reported no improvement. Five mothers participated with a mean age of 40 years and education ranging from elementary school to high school. The age of the children ranged from 5 to 13 years. The operational structure of the group has developed through 12 meetings lasting one hour each. Mothers were interviewed individually before and after the group meetings. The CBCL was also applied. At the end of the meetings, the mothers reported an improvement in the behavior of the children and also changes in their own behaviors relating to pay more attention, patience and dialogue with their children.
