Abstract: The general aim of this study is to analyze scientific production on marketing in libraries, with an emphasis on school
libraries, using the Information Science Database (BRAPCI). The research adopts a bibliometric approach, which
is characterized by quantitatively analyzing the frequency of publications and citations, as well as qualitatively
identifying the marketing strategies reported. Data collection covers the period from 2015 to 2025, covering
publications related to marketing in school libraries. The data was organized to facilitate tabulation and
categorization, considering aspects such as titles, authors, citations and marketing strategies mentioned. The
results indicate a consistent growth in scientific production on information marketing, highlighting the concentration
in national journals and events. The main marketing strategies adopted include campaigns aimed at young
audiences, highlighting the modernization of marketing practices in libraries. The final considerations highlight the
relevance of marketing in libraries to engage students and promote services effectively. The study not only confirms
the hypothesis of an increase in research on the subject but also exposes the complexity and dynamism of
marketing in contemporary libraries. The analysis enables a deeper insight into practices and strategies,
contributing to enhancing the role of libraries and strengthening communication with the public.

Abstract: In this article the mediation of information for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in public
libraries is a topic that is little mentioned, so it is gaining relevance both in the training and in the
practical activity of librarians in information environments. With this in mind, the general objective of
this article is to identify the difficulties that professionals working at the Augusto Cesar Leite Library
of the IFS Aracaju campus face when dealing with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
In addition, it aims to show the use of informational mediation to combat the barriers that the ASD
public faces in the search for information and how the information mediator can add to the process of inclusion of the ASD public in the information units. The methodology was based on exploratory
research, with a qualitative approach and a case study method. The study was carried out at
the Augusto Cesar Leite Library of the IFS, Aracaju campus, and used a questionnaire with library
professionals. The results show that there are deficiencies in the specific training of these professionals
to treat with students with ASD and that they understand the importance of mediation in working
with this audience.

Autor(es): Braga, Aline Kelly Tavares; Paixão, Pablo Boaventura Sales
Abstract: The article analyzes the discussions in the field of Information Science regarding the development of Information Competence (IC) in high school, focusing on the role of the school librarian as an information mediator and formative agent in the teaching-learning process. Objective: to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), mapping studies that address information competence in high school thru the mediating role of the librarian in the BRAPCI and Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) databases, from 2014 to 2024. Methodology: the research is characterized as bibliographic, with a quantitative-qualitative approach, using content analysis based on Bardin (2011), conducted thru a systematic literature review. Results: 369 records were identified, of which 18 studies were selected after the application of eligibility criteria, highlighting a low incidence of research that articulates informational competence, high school education, and the role of the school librarian. Conclusion: Itis concluded that the role of the school librarian assumes a pedagogical dimension in the development of information literacy, although their integration into the educational context still occurs in a somewhat unsystematic manner, indicating the need for expanded studies and strengthening their integration into the school curriculum.

conocimiento.
