The research was carried out through data collected by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and the Amazon Foundation of Amparo and Studies and Research (FAPESPA), as well as internet surveys and literature on the subject under study. Through the analysis of the data the objective of this article can be reached, being the economy of Marabá more expressively composed by the Service and Industry sectors, with small participation of the Agricultural sector, besides the contribution by the Public Administration and the Taxes. However, the services sector contributes most to the municipal economy. In this sense, knowing that transport costs represent more than half of the logistics costs of most organization, this work has the objective of proposing a methodology to reduce transportation costs, in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, between the main distribution center of the Brazilian Navy and its Military Organizations (OM). Today, the OMs are supplied by a variety of supplies, without any type of routing to use of vehicles. Thus deliveries are made on demand, often in an uneconomical way. This work has the objective of proposing a methodology capable of reducing transportation costs, through the clustering of the OMs that are within a radius of proximity, besides the routing through the solution of the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). The study presented here, indicates that there can be a significant saving of the resources of the Force, which could be invested strategically in other sectors. This economy is timely, given the moment of strong contingency to the Brazilian Military Forces. With that, having a training of excellence is essential. It’s noted a lot of educational institutions using an "archaic" learning method, with no participation or involvement of students. In order to change this panorama, it has been the PBL (Problem-Based Learning), whose aim is to provide for students practical experiences in the learning process, through teamwork activities, problem solving, communication, and so on. Therefore, this paper proposes an analysis of the learning methods and techniques of two disciplines of the Production Engineering course in a private college localized in Minas Gerais. With the analysis it was realized that more than 50% of the students believe that the application of practical activities by the teachers of the engineering course is essential. Related to the disciplines analyzed, it was identified that more than 75% of the students considered at least "good" the activities proposed in the classroom. The activities that are highlighted and had more acceptance for the students were: Jurandir Case, Fun Party Flow Chart and Chocolate Truffle Factory. Only 13% (five) of the students considered that the activities evaluated in this work, no add something to their college degree. A bibliographical review was carried out on the concepts of time and movement studies and all applications related to ergonomics and layout. Thus, based on the results, it can be seen that it is possible to optimize the salon's operation and satisfactorily meet the needs of the clients, through the application of the study carried out.
