Relações de interação e cooperação : um estudo sobre o arranjo produtivo local de confecção e artesanato de bordado do município de Tobias Barreto - SE

Abstract

Local productive arrangements (LPAs) are considered an important instrument of local economic development that benefits all actors involved in the region in which it is inserted. From this perspective, the main objective of this work was to verify how the relations of interaction and cooperation between the companies participating in the LPA of Confection and Handicraft Embroidery of the municipality of Tobias Barreto - SE. The methodology used was qualitative in nature, where it was developed using case study techniques. The main results, obtained through interviews with four owner-owners of the participating companies, were that the cooperative relations between those involved are very weak and there is no interest in changing this situation, which should be taken into account since in this type when the cluster loses its potential, such as the increase in the bargaining power of the agglomerate. Joint actions between companies can not be identified today, they have only existed in the past. The main objective of an LPA is to promote cooperation among participating companies, seeking to make them competitive and provide improvements to them. In this way, it is possible to identify that this is not what occurs in the LPA investigated, which indicates that it is not aligned with the theory of LPAs. However, despite the setbacks with cooperation among those involved, the arrangement promotes the benefits for residents of the region, such as local economic development
