| Resumo : | Entende-se que a representação do espaço pode ser melhor apreendida através dos percursos narrativos de um filme, e por isso, o cinema pode ser um aliado ao desenvolvimento de crítica arquitetônica. Portanto, o presente trabalho tem o intuito de produzir análises fílmicas, tendo como objeto de estudo os filmes Mon Oncle (1958) e Playtime (1967), do cineasta francês Jacques Tati. Os filmes foram selecionados devido à importância que ambos conferem ao estudo da Cultura Moderna, e por representarem de forma analítica a sociedade francesa após 1950. Para o cumprimento do objetivo a metodologia do trabalho se dividiu em três etapas, sendo elas: revisão bibliográfica relativa ao estudo sobre Cultura Moderna, Arquitetura e Urbanismo no século XX e História do Cinema; pesquisa documental referente à Jacques Tati e sua filmografia; e análises fílmicas da obra cinematográfica de Jacques Tati. Desse modo, o trabalho teve como resultado, através das análises, a identificação dos diálogos de ruptura e continuidade, importantes para o estabelecimento de crítica sob a influência da cultura moderna a partir de 1950. |
| Abstract: | It is understood that the representation of space can be better apprehended through the narrative paths of a film, and therefore, cinema can be an ally to the development of architectural criticism. Therefore, this work aims to produce film analysis, having as object of study the films Mon Oncle (1958) and Playtime (1967), by the French filmmaker Jacques Tati. The films were selected because of the importance they both attach to the study of Modern Culture, and because they represent French Society in na analytical way after 1950. To achieve the objective, the methodology of the work was divided into three stages, being them: bibliographic review on study on Modern Culture, Architecture and Urbanism in the 20th century and History of Cinema; documentary research related to Jacques Tati and his filmography; and film analysis of Jacques Tati’s cinematographic work. In this way, the work resulted, throught the analysis, in the indentification of rupture and continuity dialogues, important for the establishment of criticism under the influence of modern culture since 1950. |
