| Resumo : | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo realizar um estudo sobre o teatro em Aracaju, tendo como foco único à princípio o Cine Theatro Carlos Gomes, fundado em 1904 por Nicolau Pungitori na antiga rua Japaratuba hoje conhecida como rua João Pessoa, centro da cidade. Ao se estudar o Cine Theatro, procurei efetuar um levantamento sobre sua origem, representatividade e atuação. Desta forma, o recorte temporal deste trabalho a partir de sua fundação até o momento que ele muda de nome e passa a ser conhecido como Cine Theatro Rio Branco, em homenagem ao Barão de Rio Branco. Para elaborar esta pesquisa, utilizei como uma das principais fontes artigos de jornais da época. Desta forma, busquei encontrar notícias referentes a apresentações de companhias dramáticas, atores e atrizes, peças desempenhadas e a sua repercussão social, como também por se tratar de um cine theatro fiz um levantamento dos principais filmes nele exibidos para população e o fiz uma análise do caráter destas fitas. |
| Abstract: | The present work aims to carry out a study on theater in Aracaju, having as its sole focus at first the Cine Theatro Carlos Gomes, founded in 1904 by Nicolau Pungitori in the former Japaratuba street, now known as João Pessoa street, downtown. When studying Cine Theatro, I tried to survey its origin, representativeness and performance. Thus, the time frame of this work from its foundation until the moment it changes its name and becomes known as Cine Theatro Rio Branco, in honor of the Baron of Rio Branco. To elaborate this research, I used articles from newspapers of the time as one of the main sources. In this way, I sought to find news regarding presentations by dramatic companies, actors and actresses, plays performed and their social repercussion, as well as, as it is a cine theater, I surveyed the main films shown there for the population and did an analysis of the character of these ribbons. |
