| Resumo : | Objetivo: descrever e correlacionar os sinais e sintomas da fadiga vocal em professores. Método: participaram do estudo 70 professores do gênero feminino, com idades entre 21 e 55 anos, atuantes na rede de ensino do estado de Sergipe, nas esferas de ensino infantil, fundamental, médio e universitário, com e sem queixa de fadiga vocal, os quais responderam aos questionários de Índice de Triagem do Distúrbio da Voz (ITDV), Escala de Autopercepção da Fadiga Vocal (EAFV) e Índice de Fadiga Vocal (IFV). Resultados: O ITDV apresentou-se positivo para um provável distúrbio vocal em professoras, EAFV sinalizou a existência de queixa de sinais e sintomas vocais no momento da avaliação assim como no rastreio de fadiga vocal, e o IFV foi negativo para a fadiga e restrição vocal. Conclusão: Foi possível observar que a amostra estudada apresenta um provável distúrbio vocal, com presença de sinais e sintomas da fadiga vocal no momento da coleta das informações, mas talvez, não o suficiente ao longo do tempo. |
| Abstract: | Objective: To describe and correlate the signs and symptoms of vocal fatigue in teachers. Method: 70 feminine teachers, aged between 21 and 55 years old, working in the Sergipe state school system, in the kindergarten, elementary, high school and university levels, with and without complaint of vocal fatigue, participated in the study, who answered the Screening Index for Voice Disorder (SIVD), Vocal Fatigue Self-Perception Scale (EAFV) and Vocal Fatigue Index (VFI) questionnaires. Results: The ITDV was positive for a probable vocal disorder in teachers, EAFV signaled the presence of vocal signs and symptoms at the moment of the evaluation as well as in the vocal fatigue screening, and the VFI was negative for vocal fatigue and restriction. Conclusion: It was possible to observe that the studied sample presents a probable vocal disorder, with signs and symptoms of vocal fatigue at the moment of the information collection, but perhaps not enough over time. |
