| Resumo : | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a peça de teatro “Espinhos e Flores”, do escritor português Camilo Castelo Branco, que, de acordo com a pesquisa em jornais, foi apresentada pela primeira vez em 1873, na cidade de Aracaju, no Teatro Particular São Salvador. A partir desse estudo, pretende-se examinar as interpretações femininas presentes na peça, entendendo assim como a idealização do que era ser mulher refletia diretamente no cotidiano, e também nos papéis sociais reforçados através do teatro, com enfoque nos estereótipos relacionados às mulheres da segunda metade do século XIX. |
| Abstract: | This paper aims to analyze the play “Espinhos e Flores”, by Portuguese writer Camilo Castelo Branco, which, according to research in newspapers, was presented for the first time in 1873, in the city of Aracaju, at Teatro Particular São Salvador. From this study, it is intended to examine the female interpretations present in the play, thus understanding how the idealization of what it was to be a woman reflected directly in daily life, and also in the social roles reinforced through theater, with a focus on stereotypes related to women of the second mid19th century. |
