A produção de conhecimento acerca da educação: uma análise a partir do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social da Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the production of knowledge on the subject of education from the dissertations of the Postgraduate Program in Social Work at the Federal University of Sergipe (PROSS/UFS), from 2013 to 2020.The research is exploratory, with a qualitative approach, whose analysis is referenced in historical-dialectical materialism. As methodological procedures, bibliographical and documentary research was used, whose main sources were the dissertations found through a survey on the PROSS/UFS website. Thirteen dissertations with the theme of education were identified, with a prevalence in the research line “Work, Vocational Training and Social Service”. It was found that the theoretical production carried out in relation to the theme within the scope of the Program, presents different analysis points, based on a critical analysis. The results present the main thematic axes: student assistance, professional practice in Social Work and expansion of undergraduate courses in Social Work.
