| Resumo : | Este trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar a construção do roteiro do curta-metragem Ancestral, narrativa que busca como proposta mostrar a reconexão da personagem Dandara com sua ancestralidade, a partir da sua experiência com o Quibungo. É a partir do encontro com esse ser misterioso que Dandara percebe que o vínculo com suas raízes ainda pequeno e existe muita coisa a ser entendida. A partir da contextualização sobre o gênero horror, e passando pelo entendimento sobre a ancestralidade afro brasileira, trago uma reflexão sobre racismo e os desafios enfrentados pelos afrodescentes nessa sociedade que apesar de muito ter progredido ainda tem que lutar contra um racismo estrutural. |
| Abstract: | This work aims to show the construction of the script for the short film Ancestral, a narrative that seeks to show the reconnection of the character Dandara with his ancestry, based on his experience with Quibungo. It is from the encounter with this mysterious being that Dandara realizes that the link with her roots is still small and there is a lot to be understood. From the contextualization of the horror genre, and through the understanding of Afro-Brazilian ancestry, I bring a reflection on the challenges that prejudices faced by Afro-descendants in this society, which despite having progressed a lot, still has to fight against structural racism. |
