O sentido da vida: perspectivas de diversos atores sociais por meio de um olhar da Terapia ocupacional

Abstract

Occupations give meaning to everyday life, through which a meaningful return to life can be developed or the promotion of a satisfactory occupational engagement that enhances the construction or reconstruction of everyday life. Thus, it is important to take into account that the formation of this sense is related both to the singularity and to the collective, as this look, too, can be constructed by culture, tradition, religion and spirituality. This research aims to know the meanings of the meaning of life for different social actors in their different cultures, beliefs, values, knowledge, daily life and practices. It uses a qualitative and descriptive methodology. The presentation of the discussion of the results took place from pre-indicators, which were delimited on top of the data collected and analyzed to determine nuclei of meaning through the selected themes, which were: Spirituality, Religion and Religiosity; Self-knowledge, Altruism and Occupational Therapy. Therefore, the narratives brought from the perspective of the point of view of the meaning of life are directly linked to the subjectivity of the individual, his occupational engagement in significant activities and how he faces his daily life.
