| Resumo : | O presente artigo pretende analisar o trabalho infantil realizado no ambiente das usinas de açúcar da região de Capela-SE entre os anos de 1965-1970, através dos relatos de memória de quem vivenciou o cotidiano dentro desses espaços de trabalho. Nesse sentido, a contextualização das origens das usinas investigadas, a maneira com a qual elas se apresentavam para a população da cidade e das regiões circunvizinhas, a análise das legislações vigentes em torno das questões do trabalho infantil e a compreensão da realidade em que essas crianças estavam inseridas na estrutura das usinas, são aspectos que serão abordados nesta produção. Dessa forma, além de contextualizar a situação legislativa nacional a respeito do trabalho infantil, a história oral se insere como instrumento importante de análise mais aprofundada das usinas no período. |
| Abstract: | This article intends to analyze child labor carried out in the environment of sugar mills in the Capela-SE region between the years 1965-1970, through the memory reports of those who experienced the daily life within these workspaces. In this sense, the contextualization of the origins of the investigated plants, the way in which they presented themselves to the population of the city and the surrounding regions, the analysis of the current legislation around the issues of child labor and the understanding of the reality in which these children were inserted in the structure of the sugar plants, are aspects that will be addressed in this production. In this way, in addition to contextualizing the national legislative situation regarding child labor, the oral history is inserted as an important instrument for a more in-depth analysis of the plants in the period. |
