| Resumo : | As Indicações Geográficas (IGs) atuam como forma de reconhecer características únicas de um determinado produto, podendo trazer um aumento da qualidade percebida pelo seu consumidor. Desta forma o mapeamento de potenciais produtos que dispõem de atributos capazes de reconhecimento através de IG podem contribuir com o desenvolvimento do seu mercado e consequente desenvolvimento social da região produtora. Neste trabalho se propõem uma análise da Potencialidade das Indicações Geográficas em Sergipe sob a perspectiva das publicações acadêmicas acerca dessa temática, utilizando como fonte de pesquisa o Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) e a Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). Os resultados apresentam uma crescente de produções entre os anos de 2015 e 2018, seguida de uma escassez de publicações nos anos subsequentes, demonstram também o protagonismo do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Propriedade Intelectual (PPGPI) da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) como promotor da pesquisa e discussão envolvendo Indicações Geográficas em Sergipe. |
| Abstract: | Geographical Indications (GIs) act to recognize the unique characteristics of a specific product, which can lead to an increase in the quality attributed by consumers. Therefore, mapping potential products with attributes that make them recognized through GIs can drive their market development and consequently the social development of the producer region. This study proposes an analysis of the Potentiality of Geographical Indications in Sergipe from a point of view of the academic publications on this topic, wherein it was used the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) as research database. The results show growth in publication production between the years 2015 and 2018, followed by a scarcity of publications in the following years. They also demonstrate the leadership of the Graduate Program in Intellectual Property Science (PPGPI) at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) as a promoter of research and discussion involving Geographical Indications in Sergipe. |
