Preponderância das politicas publicas e medidas para erradicação da pobreza na perspectiva da Agenda 2030 da ONU

Abstract

Poverty is the theme of Sustainable Development Goal 01, which bears the title of “Eradicating poverty in all its forms, everywhere”, prepared by the United Nations, with the realization of the 2030 Agenda. With the current event of the Covid-19 pandemic, this objective has become far from reaching, since the People Axis, which includes ODS 01, was significantly affected. The general objective of this chapter is to conceptualize SDG 01- Eradicate poverty and analyze the impacts suffered by the Covid-19 pandemic related to public policies, to achieve the following specific objectives: to support the 2030 Agenda with SDGs 01 and the people axis, analyze the goals established for SDG 01 by the UN, conceptualize public policies, poverty and analyze the advance of poverty in the pandemic scenario. The methodology used is bibliographic and documental, deductive and dialectical research. The initial stage of research is elaborated with the bibliographic and documentary recovery. In conclusion, the negative perspective of the results on poverty before and during the Covid-19 pandemic appears in a way that expresses the increase in poverty rates during this period.
