Educação e saúde: variação no uso dos conceitos

Abstract

Education and Health are areas of knowledge composed of confluence or intersection subareas known as education and health, health education, health education, health in education, health education, and professional health education. The objective of this work is to carry out an initial problematization about the use of these terms. The methodology used was a bibliographic review of the terms under study, including two articles on the use of the above terms in papers published in the editions of EDUCON. We found that the terms "Education and Health" and "Health Education" are considered synonyms. About "Health Education" there is a consensus and these are educational actions aimed at the training of professionals to work in the health area. Including the expression "Professional Education in Health". And that "Education for health", characterized as content transfer without the active participation of the apprentices.
