| Resumo : | Este trabalho consiste no estudo da obra A morte e a morte de Quincas Berro D’ água (1959), de Jorge Amado (1912-2001), por um viés interpretativo do papel dos grupos minoritários dentro do romance. Nesse caso, ao identificar o papel da literatura como disseminadora cultural e ideológica, faz-se necessário recobrar o romance de 30, o qual, ao assumir uma literatura de esquerda, preocupou-se em retratar a realidade de figuras marginalizadas socialmente. Dentre outros pontos, a análise fundamentou-se em aspectos da Literatura Brasileira (BOSI, 2015) e cultura e representação (HALL, 2016). Constatou-se que a obra assume uma temática de crítica social nesse romance de Jorge Amado. |
| Abstract: | This research consists of studying the work A morte e a morte de Quincas Berro DÁgua’, by Jorge Amado (1912-2001), from an interpretative perspective of the role of minority groups within the novel. In this case, when identifying the role of literature as a cultural and ideological disseminator, it is necessary to recover the Brazilian novel of the 1930s, which, when assuming left-wing literature, is concerned with portraying the reality of socially marginalized figures. Among other points, the analysis is based on some aspects of Brazilian Literature (BOSI, 2015) and culture and representation (HALL, 2016). It was found that the work assumes a theme of social criticism in this Jorge Amado"s novel. |
