| Resumo : | A musicalidade dentro do teatro sempre existiu e o seu aperfeiçoamento durante anos gerou esse grande gênero que hoje se faz conhecido por todo mundo — o teatro musical nada mais é que um agente ativo das junções das linguagens artísticas e uma empreitada altamente colaborativa entre a literatura dramática, música, dança, atuação, etc., ou seja, todas as artes unificadas. Portanto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar um estudo reflexivo acerca do desenvolvimento do teatro musical sob a perspectiva do musical homônimo à obra do dramaturgo alemão Frank Wedekind (1864–1918), “Spring Awakening” (Frühlings Erwachen ou O Despertar da Primavera), apresentado na Broadway em 2006, para mostrar e analisar as interfaces e multifuncionalidades do gênero teatral através do musical e peça teatral supracitados, também presente em outros autores e obras. |
| Abstract: | Musicality within theater has always existed and its improvement over the years has generated this great genre that is now known to everyone — musical theater is nothing more than an active agent of the junctions of artistic languages and a highly collaborative endeavor between the dramatic literature, music, dance, acting, etc., that is, all unified arts. Therefore, the present work aims to present a reflective study about the development of musical theater from the perspective of the musical homonymous to the work of German playwright Frank Wedekind (1864–1918), “Spring Awakening” (Frühlings Erwachen), presented on Broadway in 2006, to show and analyze the interfaces and multifunctionalities of the theatrical genre through the aforementioned musical and play, also present in other authors and works. |
