Abstract

This article seeks to analyze the bell ringer's craft and the bell object as a heritage contextualized through the bell tolls in the city of Laranjeiras-SE in the 21st century, relating this profession and object with a portion of the citizens of Laranjeiras, understanding and correlating the history of the craft , the language of bells and the immaterial culture that exists behind every liturgy that crosses time and unites diverse people. Buca also understands that both the tolls and tolls of bells and the profession of bell ringers must become increasingly recognized, in addition to being preserved and valued by everyone who comes in contact with them in some way. In terms of methodology, a qualitative approach was chosen to understand the phenomenon, in addition to the literature review as a complementary tool. The research sought to analyze the importance of the bell ringer profession as an intangible heritage, in addition the research aims to identify and list the main factors that influenced the bell ringer's craft and the tolls / rings and peals of the bells of the city of Laranjeiras to be registered.
