Estratégia minimamente invasiva de resolução estética de mancha branca hipoplásica

Abstract

Disorders during the formation of the enamel matrix can lead to tissue hypoplasia, related to the defective or defective quantitative formation of this tissue. The clinical aspects can vary according to the degree of severity, being presented as spots, or even complete absence of enamel in certain areas of the crown. Thinking about the importance of improving self-esteem and, consequently, the well-being and social relations of the patient, associated with the possibility of carrying out an effective and minimally invasive procedure, a bibliographic study was carried out in search of aesthetic and conservative resolution of white spot hypoplastic. It is a literature review, in which a book and articles selected according to the pre-selected inclusion criteria were used as a source. It is essential that the dental surgeon knows how to diagnose the condition presented here, so that effective treatment is indicated and carried out, and among the possibilities investigated, resin infiltration was the one that presented the most advantages for the resolution of hypoplastic stains, as it is a a safe, minimally invasive, painless technique, with immediate aesthetic recovery and high patient satisfaction.
