Redes sociais e saúde mental: o mapeamento das primeiras pesquisas

Abstract

This article intended to investigate a problem that arose during the academic master's research, regarding social networks and their relationship with the mental health of the respective subjects subject to scientific investigation. It presents reliable data that with the advent of technologies, research related to mental health has emerged in an intrinsic relationship that permeates social networks. For this purpose, the Scielo and Google Scholar databases were used, bringing contributions from authors such as Silva and Moreno (2022), Souza, Anderson and Oliveira (2021), Cruz (2020) among others, who brought points of reflection and problematization of the topic in question. Its methodology includes bibliographical research which, according to Gil (2002), represents an apparatus of publications that guide the aforementioned subject. As research results, it brought a new rethinking about them and their respective impacts on the routines of the daily “I”, problematizing what they are, not for pathologization only, but for a process of dialogic orientation with the basic assumption of articulating individual subjectivity of each person in today's connected society.
