| Resumo : | Em outubro de 1984, a Secretaria de Estado da Educação e Cultura lançou, por meio da Subsecretaria de Cultura e Arte, o sétimo caderno da Coleção de Cadernos de Cultura Popular, intitulada "Riachuelo: Danças e Folguedos Folclóricos". O presente artigo tem como objetivo abordar três questões principais: a visão da cultura pela secretaria de Educação e Cultura; com que intenção a Coleção de Cadernos da Cultura Popular foi criada; e o motivo pelo qual Riachuelo foi escolhida pela secretaria, visto que, nem todos os municípios do estado foram contemplados com cadernos próprios. Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa que visa ampliar o conhecimento sobre o período, anteriormente referido por romancistas riachuelenses como "o passado de riquezas" da cultura popular de Riachuelo. |
| Abstract: | In October 1984, the State Department of Education and Culture, through the Subsecretariat of Culture and Art, released the seventh booklet of the Popular Culture Notebooks Collection, titled "Riachuelo: Folk Dances and Festivals." This project aims to address three main issues: the Department of Education and Culture's view of culture; the intention behind the creation of the Popular Culture Notebooks Collection; and the reason why Riachuelo was chosen by the department, considering that not all municipalities in the state were granted their own booklets. This article presents the results of research aimed at expanding knowledge about the period, previously referred to by writers from Riachuelo as "the past of riches" of Riachuelo's popular culture. |
