| Resumo : | Este trabalho pretende fazer uma tradução crítica e comentada da obra Tratado sobre Educação de John Milton (1608-1684). Seu principal objetivo é identificar e analisar quais são os pontos inovadores de sua proposta de um sistema educacional para a Inglaterra, bem como as referências históricas e teóricas que o embasam. Para tanto, faremos um breve estudo da sua biografia, buscando verificar o modo como sua produção literária se posiciona no seu contexto histórico e de que modo dialoga com a tradição, bem como sobre as ideias pedagógicas que circulavam no período de publicação da obra. |
| Abstract: | This work aims to provide a critical and annotated translation of the work Tractate of Education by John Milton (1608-1684). Its main objective is to identify and analyze the innovative points of its proposal for an educational system for England, as well as the historical and theoretical references that support it. To this end, we will make a brief study of his biography, seeking to verify how his literary production is positioned in its historical context and how it dialogues with tradition, as well as the pedagogical ideas that circulated during the period of publication of the work. |
