| Resumo : | Realizou-se um estudo sobre a qualidade de vida de indivíduos com obesidade grave que se submeteram à cirurgia bariátrica. Participaram dele dezesseis pessoas com idades entre 22 e 63 anos com tempo de realização da cirurgia entre 12 e 48 meses e que se encontram em acompanhamento ambulatorial no Hospital Universitário da Universidade Federal de Sergipe. O instrumento utilizado para a avaliação de qualidade de vida foi o WHOQOL-bref, versão em português. Foi feita análise de frequência das respostas por meio do programa SPSS 17.0. Os resultados obtidos indicaram melhora nos domínios físico, psicológico, das relações sociais e do meio ambiente da qualidade de vida dos pacientes. |
| Abstract: | In this paper it was made a research about the quality of life of individuals with severe obesity who underwent a bariatric surgery. The research included sixteen people aged between 22 and 63 ye-ars old12 to 48 months and who are receiving outpatient treatment at University Hospital of the Sergipe Federal University. The instrument used to assess their quality of life was the Portuguese version of the WHOQOL-bref. The analysis of the frequency of responses analysis was performed using the SPSS 17.0 program. The results indicated improvements in the physical, psychological, of the social relations and environmental domains of the quality of life of the patients. |
