As cadeias globais de valor e a inserção sul americana : uma análise das indústrias automobilísticas argentinas e brasileiras

Abstract

With the recent changes in the structures of international trade, since the 1990s, the production of goods and services has been undergoing changes, favoring their fragmentation. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the insertion of the automobile industry of the two largest automobile producers in South America, Argentina and Brazil. First, the most important themes and concepts related to global value chains will be discussed, such as state and corporate governance, value added and upgrading. Therefore, the historical formation of the automobile industry in both countries will be discussed, as well as the specificities of the global value chains of the global automobile industry. Finally, using data analysis methods, the data of the countries will be exposed, as well as the debates related to the results obtained.
