| Resumo : | O presente artigo quer colaborar com a compreensão histórica do surgimento da Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (AIDS) em Sergipe, tendo como aporte as notícias publicadas no Jornal de Sergipe. A ideia é revisitar esta fonte no afã de tratar desta temática e considerar como este periódico tratou da veiculação da notícia sobre o assunto, seja em nível internacional, nacional e local, e de seus impactos juntos às políticas de saúde pública no Estado e na população. |
| Abstract: | This article aims to contribute to the historical understanding of the emergence of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in Sergipe, using as its source news articles published in the Jornal de Sergipe. The idea is to revisit this source with the goal of addressing this topic and considering how this newspaper reported on the news about AIDS, both internationally, nationally, and locally, and its impacts on public health policies in the state and among the population. |
