Escuta psicanalítica em espaços institucionais: relato de experiência de uma analista em um órgão de segurança pública

Abstract

In this thesis, I reflect on the limits and possibilities of the work of a psychologist with a psychoanalytic orientation within a biopsychosocial care service aimed at public security personnel and their families, in the state of Sergipe. The proposal is to examine the conditions of possibility for this kind of work and to discuss its potentialities and limitations. I begin with the hypothesis that psychoanalytic listening is viable in any space that welcomes the subjective experience of suffering, provided that the professional is committed to the analytic method, to ethics, and to the specific training required by psychoanalysis. Based on this premise, I address clinical and institutional experiences, including possible contributions and impacts on psychoanalytic theory and technique. Within this space, I seek answers to the following questions: What kind of clinic is possible in this context? How can I contribute to this work from a psychoanalytic perspective? How has psychoanalysis thought about the question of work and the worker? Has psychoanalysis entered the field of public security? What is the impact of this work on my own clinical practice? This is, therefore, an experience report that addresses themes such as the psychodynamics of work and the psychological suffering experienced by public security professionals who are exposed daily to violence. In this way, I seek to reflect on the subjective entanglements that mark the institutional work of the analyst.
