Violência contra a mulher : fortalecendo a rede assistencial através do Centro de Referência de Atendimento à Mulher no enfrentamento à violência doméstica e familiar contra a mulher no município de Aracaju/SE

Abstract

This final project aims to strengthen the service network through the Women's Service Reference Center (CRAM) in the municipality of Aracaju, Sergipe, as a facility that assists in combating domestic and family violence. This research uses historical and dialectical materialism as its methodological framework, employing a qualitative and quantitative approach, and is based on bibliographic and documentary research. The research is justified by the need for a deeper theoretical understanding of the specificities involved in implementing CRAMs, as well as public policies to combat violence against women. The research focuses on analyzing the national guidelines for CRAMs, illustrating the process of implementing these facilities in the state, the main challenges faced, and their articulation with state and/or municipal assistance programs. In this context, the overall objective is to understand the dynamics of implementation and operation of CRAM as a public facility for combating domestic and family violence in the state of Sergipe. Specifically, the study aims to: conduct bibliographic research on the structural nature of violence against women, from a sociohistorical perspective articulated with the dimensions of class, race, and gender; present the legal regulations and rates of violence against women in Brazil, Sergipe, and Aracaju; map the implementation process of CRAMs in the state based on records and media reports; and understand the functioning of the Aracaju CRAM and its articulation with the specialized network and the social assistance network. In conclusion, the research results indicate that the Aracaju/SE CRAM plays a fundamental role in supporting women experiencing violence, through intersectoral strategies that involve qualified listening, legal guidance, psychosocial support, economic inclusion, and strengthening the autonomy of users. Thus, its relevance as an instrument of resistance to rights violations and the reconstruction of female citizenship is reaffirmed.
