| Resumo : | Este trabalho trata-se de um estudo retrospectivo, transversal e observacional com finalidade de analisar, epidemiologicamente, as mulheres atendidas no Hospital de Urgência de Sergipe (HUSE) no período de 2007 a 2010, vítimas de traumatismos faciais por agressão física. Dentre as 58 pacientes vítimas de agressão física atendidas, foi observada uma prevalência na faixa etária dos 21 a 40 anos (66%). O principal agente agressor foi o cônjuge (45%) e o mecanismo mais utilizado por eles o soco ou chute (78%). Fraturas faciais ocorreram em 35% das pacientes, com prevalência pelas lesões nasais (69%). As lesões associadas pelo corpo foram mais prevalentes nos membros superiores (12%) das pacientes. Assim, é possível inferir que padrões de atendimento terapêutico à essas vítimas sejam criados pelas equipes de saúde, no intuito de se otimizar o tratamento e de auxiliar não só a investigação policial sobre essas ocorrências, mas também contribuir no acolhimento de mulheres vítimas de agressão pelos órgãos sociais responsáveis. |
| Abstract: | This work is in a retrospective, cross-sectional and observational study with the purpose of analyzing, epidemiologically, women treated at Emergency Hospital of Sergipe (HUSE) in the period from 2007 to 2010, victims of facial trauma by physical aggression .Among the 58 victims of physical aggression treated, a prevalence in the age group of 21-40 years (66%) was observed, the main offender agent was the spouse (45%) and the mechanism most used by them was the punch or kick (78%). Facial fractures occurred in 35% of patients, with prevalence by nasal lesions (69%). The lesions associated with the body were more prevalent in the upper limbs (12%) of the patients. Thus, we can infer that patterns of therapeutic care to these victims are created by health teams, in order to optimize treatment and assist not only the police investigation of these occurrences , but also contribute to the host of women victims of aggression by the responsible governament bodies. |
