| Resumo : | Esta monografia tem por objetivo analisar a contínua evolução das justificativas eclesiásticas para a violência, com maior foco na análise da obra escrita pelo monge cisterciense Bernardo de Claraval, De la excelencia de la nueva milicia, que foi destinado a recente Ordem dos Cavaleiros de Cristo. Trabalhamos com a hipótese de que as legitimações para a prática da guerra para a comunidade cristã possuem como todo texto uma metalinguagem capaz de ilustrar o indivíduo e a sociedade que influenciou tal escritor. Entre esses dois polos oras convergentes outras divergentes, cristianismo e violência, guerra e justiça, exploramos um horizonte de reflexões sobre o tema da violência e sua relação direta com os anseios da sua sociedade. |
| Abstract: | This paper aims to examine the continuing evolution of the ecclesiastical justifications for violence, with greater focus on the analysis of the work written by the Cistercian monk Bernard of Clairvaux, De la excellence de la nueva militia, which was for the recent Order of the Knights of Christ. We hypothesized that the legitimations for the practice of war for the Christian community have all text as a metalanguage able to illustrate the individual and society that influenced this writer. Between these two poles duh other convergent divergent, Christianity and violence, war and justice, we explore a horizon of reflections on the theme of violence and its direct relationship with the desires of their society. |
